Gorgeous hideaway is the perfect retreat for one or two people — a quiet stay for a writer or those seeking a retreat for a stretch of time for focusing and reflection. It’s also ideal for visiting family on the island or locals in between housing, as monthly stays are welcomed.

The suite is part of our family home but fully private, with:

* King-size bed
* Love seat & bistro table (for dining or laptop use)
* Private bathroom & patio

Enjoy tea or meals on the outdoor patio (please note: it’s uncovered, so use depends on weather).

The space is recently renovated with a warm rustic charm.

The space is comfortable and has a nice patio. The host was very nice and communicated through texting which was clear and concise. I enjoyed my stay.

This is an excellent property and location if you’re looking for a nice quiet retreat for either one or two people. Very clean and quaint; well kept property; comfortable king-size bed!! Wonderful place to take a break and relax!

Stay at Rosemary and Seashells cottage

I stayed here with my partner for a few nights a couple weeks ago to get away from the city. The cottage was in a lovely area. Had a beautiful view of the blue water! The cottage was very clean and cozy:) Rasha was also such a lovely host! Thank you so much for the lovely time!

Cozy cottage in wonderful setting

Rasha was great. Very responsive. Bathroom and bedroom were a touch cozy for two, but otherwise clean, comfortable and well-kept. Wonderful view of the channel from private deck. Thanks to Rasha for a pleasant stay.

Lovely to meet you David and Carolyn too ! The suite has a kingsize bed so plenty of room for 2 to sleep comfortably. You are right though, the suite is quite cozy 300~325sq ft including the 3 piece bathroom. Its more like a hotel room with a kingsize bed, a tiny bathroom and a basic kitchenette. Most guests when home sit out on the suite private patio, which is a good size, looking out to the ocean. Look forward to see you again on the island!:)

Cozy and Quiet

Had a lovely stay at Rasha's cabin. Clean and neat, with a view of the ocean. You have your own bathroom, kitchenette and a nice patio. Comfortable bed. Close to Fernwood Point Beach. This was the perfect base for exploring Salt Spring Island.

I, my 2 gir live in beautiful Vancouver, Canada.

If not in Vancouver, we are at my second home on Salt Spring Island. I feel lucky to have found this gem. Truly a piece of paradise.

In Vancouver, I have lived in Kitsilano for the past 20 years. It has always been a great place to live as a single adult and also as a parent with kids. It is a very convenient location for both living and visiting. No car needed as restaurants, cafes, small shops and much more are so close by and public transportation is around the corner. Also for kids, there are always many activities and parks close by. We live in one of those beautiful 100 years old Kitsilano Craftsman houses.

My daughters are, one 20 years old & the other 13 years old .. and I am an Expressive Arts Therapist, Interior Stylist, dance & movement enthusiast & a mom with many projects going on! We speak 3 languages at home English, Arabic & French so don't worry about communication if English is not your first language :)

We love people & also music! We play when we have the chance, so if you are a musician go ahead and play .. let us know if you want to jam! :)

Salt Spring Island is a Charming place. My house facing the ocean enjoys the magical north light all day long. Great place to star gaze, go for a walk or watch the moon shine on the ocean at night.
