21st wedding anniversary

The property is very nice. My only complaints are that the elevator for Hosteeva guests was extremely slow. And the smart in the living room was not connected to wifi.

Awesome!

We stayed here in NOLA for about 4.5 days and it was a great experience. It isn't right in the heart of the French Quarter but practically right across Canal St. The condo was enough for the two of us and it was nice to come back to more of a "home" feel than a hotel. The only issue that we had was the firmness of the bed. We both tend to like a more plush mattress but it was still a decent night's sleep.

The good, the bad, the ugly.

I made a reservation to this property for Thursday through Sunday. We arrived Thursday and I was accommodated for early check in which was nice. While they accommodated me for that when I called in to ask for that, I was told the rental was ready. We went in and entered a rental with no power, while I figured it was possibly shut off accidentally I jump back on the phone to get ahold of someone my husband goes out to find maintenance people. We were told two different things by the Hosteeva and their employees. The employees told us that the rooms in level 7 and 8 have been without power for an extensive amount of time. Not just a few hours/days, we were told months for our specific unit. Hosteeva was apologetic and said they’d place us somewhere else since our unit was down. When we entered that unit aside from the power being out, the TV was mounted poorly and the TV looked like it would fall off the wall. The rug was ripped and the window had no safety features. So while we already carried our luggage to the unit we were sold that should have been fixed we were upgraded to a penthouse. We were content with them fixing their error until 9 AM Saturday came around. I get woken up to a call saying we have to be out by 11 because someone else is staying at that unit now. Not only have they sold us a bad unit, we are now being asked to move AGAIN with one night left in our stay. The first girl we spoke to didn’t really care about the inconvenience of moving us constantly but instead just wanted us out. I asked if we could just stay since the unit being broken from the start wasn’t our fault but their own fault since they “didn’t know”, she said she’d call me back since she had to restart her system. When she called back she said there were no other units and we had to repack in less than 2 hours and move. She was unprofessional and refused to allow us to speak to someone in a higher position than her, she at one point lied and said she was the highest position and then followed up with her supervisor not being available. Once we asked to speak to her manager she placed us on a long hold and never picked up again. We called back but this time someone else answered, we explained what we just went through and how constantly wanting us to move because of their mistake from the start was not our fault. We won’t be rebooking with this company. They’ve proven to just sell units without knowing if they work, it was a bad experience over all. Don’t recommend

Well thought out!

Great flat with wonderful amenities. Only negative would be not enough on-site luggage storage (we arrived several hours early) and no one on property to coordinate it with.
