Originally built in 1899 as the “OK Stables,” this building once welcomed Ouray’s earliest travelers—horsemen, gold seekers, and adventurers—and today blends its rich history with modern comforts. Our stay was wonderful. The unit was clean, updated and as described in the listing. Easy walk down Main Street to shopping and dining. Great trails around Ourey for hiking. Hope to visit again sometime.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean and comfortable. Centrally located and easy to get anywhere in town. The only real complaint I have is that even though the tub/shower is huge, the rest of the bathroom is quite small, but that is incredibly minor.

Ouray summer trip

This was the first time to visit this area to stay. We had passed through on a fall CO trip and really loved the area and the town. This little house was perfect for just the two of us. The hosts were very willing to answer any questions and we had everything we needed. They have a covered carport that was large enough for our Jeep and someone else staying in the other apartment also had a Jeep. There was plenty of room for both. The rental was quiet. It is, however down a metal set of stairs to the outside landing. We did not mind them, but someone with mobility issues might.

Good stay in Ouray

Enjoyed our time at this cute home. Nicely decorated, comfy bed, all the necessities provided. Just off Main Street so it was easy to get to restaurants and shops, as well as the Perimeter Trail. Didn’t hear a lot of road noise from the streets so that was a bonus.
