Beach front house in private estate overlooking the sea and mountains

Our delightful home is set in landscaped gardens which lead directly onto a beautiful, white sand 5 km beach, backed by the Hottentot mountains of the winelands. The stunning view is to the Cape Peninsular across False Bay.

The house is beautifully and very tastefully furnished with plenty of storage, and everything you will need for a comfortable stay. There is a fully equipped, spacious kitchen with breakfast bar. Adjacent to the house is undercover parking and laundry facilities.

Behind the house there is a communal plunge pool (fenced) with a barbecue/braai. Within this estate of luxury homes is a club house, bistro, large swimming pool, tennis courts and a 9 hole golf course for your use.


House:: Tamarind is a very comfortable, single-storey villa which is suitable for people with walking difficulties as it is accessed directly from the covered parking bay or from the beach.
The house is tastefully furnished and fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the twin beds in both bedrooms can be joined together to make double beds. There is a second shower room, with wash basin and loo. There is a double sofa bed in the living area. Good quality linen and bath towels are provided.
The garden passes through gentle sand dunes directly on to the five kilometre white sandy beach.

Your Holiday:: A morning stroll on the beach to dip your feet in the warm Indian Ocean currents is the perfect way to start your day and where the water is a perfect temperature for swimming and fantastic for exploring the numerous rock pools.
The house and gardens are safe for children and there is a communal pool behind the house for supervised (by you) swimming.


The Surrounding Area:: Tamarind is centrally situated for visiting Cape Town (30 minutes away), Stellenbosch and the Winelands (15 minutes away), Hermanus for whale watching (30 minutes away) as well as the Garden Route. Nearby Somerset West has good shopping facilities. There are a number of top class golf courses in the immediate vicinity as well as many superb restaurants. The Cape area has so many things to do and places to see - tourist attractions, sporting activities, glorious beaches, and wonderful food and wine.
