Home away from home

2 couples for a week's getaway late June.We loved the place. Spacious, well located, close to bike path, wineries and beautiful Wellington.Wendy was a responsive host. Couldn't ask for more!

Nice Spot!

Very quiet part of the county, located next to a farm. Large, beautiful property with great sunsets. Very spacious and comfortable interior - we were two families - a total of four adults and two young kids. Great central location in PEC. Look forward to returning!

Thanksgiving getaway

A super enjoyable stay. The house is lovely with all the amenities you require. There is a great patio to lounge on and a firepit to spend quality time and share stories. The beds and furniture are comfortable while providing a modern farmhouse feel. It is in a great location, near several wineries, shops and microbreweries. Wendy the host was very responsive and helpful! We highly recommend.

3 couples bicycle winery exploration weekend

Wendy was amazing. Communicating in advance and explaining her beautiful home before arrival. three couples enjoyed great sleep in this open concept beautifully kept country home. calmly situated on a quiet country road the evenings bonfire was perfect. We bicycled around exploring wineries and cider houses and this location was flawless to always be within a quick ride home. we visited over 8 places within a 10 km radius so it's location is really great. We love the kitchen and sitting area, there is everything you need to cook meals, bbq, etc in the drawers. We would stay here again without question.

Country Escape with Critical Flaws

The property was great for relaxation, and our puppy loved the spacious lawn. The location offered seclusion while being close to major areas, and the interior was comfortable for socializing. However, the property fell short of basic comfort standards, and the owner seemed unaware of these issues. Several aspects were unacceptable. The outdoor trash management was nonexistent; it was rotten and lying on the ground, which our puppy found before we did. We had to clean it up ourselves for her safety. Additionally, the frying pan was a disaster, covered in layers of burnt food. We found a burnt tray with remnants of French fries left in the oven. The barbecue was unusable; we discovered corroded pipes and a gas smell when trying to light it, ruining our plans for outdoor dinners. The landscaping was overgrown and poorly maintained. While we expected some rustic charm, the property was unkempt, and the house was infested with flies. Each morning, we had to clean hundreds of dead flies from the windowsills. We were also surprised to learn that the well water was undrinkable and had a terrible smell. This important detail was not disclosed when we booked the property. We’ve had great experiences with VRBO in the past, but this stay has raised concerns about the standards they represent.

Family trip

L’emplacement était idéal pour faire une multitude d’activités dans les différents vignobles, microbrasseries, parc de l’Ontario. L’hôte a été très disponible durant le séjour et pour les suggestions. Si vous souhaitez un séjour en campagne, le terrain est très proprice pour se reposer

Wedding day.

We travelled to Wellington for our nieces wedding in Picton. This is a lovely quiet spot…loads of places to sit outside…great for kids to run around. Lots of space inside and very well equipped. Wendy was very responsive to all our questions. Would stay again

A nice countryside home

We loved our stay in Paradise cottage! The kitchen is well equipped and the backyard is great with the fire pit. The location is perfect between all the beaches, the vineyards and different towns. We hope to come back soon!

Great Weekend Retreat

Our family of 5 had a great time in Prince Edward County for a weekend retreat. Wendy’s place was amazing. It is beautifully decorated and is well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. It is very easy to communicate with Wendy - she responds to texts right away. We would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful property in The County

We spent 1 week at Paradise Cottage during the summer. Wendy's place has everything you need for a family trip or even a girls week in The County. Conveniently located within minutes of wineries, breweries and Wellington. The decor is beautiful, the farm yard is peaceful and everything is provided for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the fire pit, comfortable beds and spacious kitchen. The kids loved the wide open field and outdoor wildlife.

Great weekend in PEC

The house was exactly as pictured and better. It’s a perfect farm house on a large property. My family (four of us) had plenty of space and enjoyed the home and all the attractions in the County. Easy communication with owner. We’d love to visit again!

Beautiful home with lots of room!

Wendy’s home is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of space inside for lounging with two living rooms and an open concept kitchen. Mushroom has lots of storage. All beds were comfortable and having three bathrooms is a major plus when travelling with a group. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful and we were able to capture some beautiful sunsets. If you are travelling to PEC, this is a great place to stay! Local wineries are fantastic and only a short drive into town to visit restaurants and local shops. Will definitely be back!
