The newer Hotel Pratt is a cozy hotel, nestled behind the historic Hotel Pratt, one of the older structures in the historic village of Cooperstown, NY. Guests of the Hotel Pratt enjoy FREE off street parking in our private lot and the convenience of being in the heart of Cooperstown. It’s just a half a block from Main Street, where one can browse through shops or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants. It is under 300 feet from the Baseball Hall of Fame and Doubleday Field where the game of baseball was created (according to local legend).
Daily housekeeping is included during you stay. You may opt out of this service.
You will be assigned a room # a few days before your stay with access instructions to your room.

Fantastic Location

Very comfortable room. Location to town could not have been better. Best place to stay in town if you want to easily visit Hall of Fame and Main Street.

Nice little spot. Perfect location. Walkable to the hall of fame and restaurants, shops and bars. 10 minutes from Ommegang Brewery which i highly recommend.

Park the Car and Forget About It!

The room was as advertised. Basic, clean and perfectly located. Best location of our many Cooperstown stays. Hosts were easy to work with and great at communicating.

Great Location, Easy Process

The New Pratt Hotel is right in the heart of Cooperstown with bars and restaurants (Cooleys and Sherman Tavern, which are open past 9pm) within a 30 second walk. The owners are responsive and friendly. The parking lot had tons of available space and getting to and from the hotel is a breeze. If you're looking for a clean, easy and friendly spot, it's perfect.

Great location, everything I needed

CJ (owner) was around and easy to reach if needed. It was nice knowing we were supporting a local business. Hotel’s location was perfect for Cooperstown offerings. We walked everywhere except to hike the trails near the lake. Room was clean with fridge. Hotel was quiet and just right. Next best thing to staying with family!

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. Walk to restaurants, shops and BB hall of fame. The room was basic. The bathroom needs work. Tub/shower needs new hardware and a drain that holds water. The faucet handles on the sink need to be taken apart and cleaned.

Simple but Clean Room; Excellent Location; Great Hosts

The hotel is a no-frills but centrally located house in the center of Cooperstown. The room was simple but clean. Most importantly, tho, the hosts Angie and CJ were really great - very responsive to any inquiries or needs we had (knob on AC unit broke first night, and they repaired it first thing the next morning), and really great personal touches (my daighter has a stuffed animal that has traveled the world with her, and he was treated like royalty every time the room was cleaned!). Overall, this was a great place to stay with a basic but clean room, accommodating and attendant hosts, and a great location. 4 stars.

Great place!

Hotel Pratt was a good value. It is not a fancy place, but it was efficient.. The room was clean, quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal! We were able to park the car during our stay and walk everywhere we wanted to visit.

Great value and location

This property is right downtown in Cooperstown. Excellent location for walking to all shops and restaurants including the Hall of Fame and Doubleday Field. The owners are super accommodating and nice.

Our son played at Dream Park. The hotel worked out perfect for us a short ride to the fields, right in heart of the village with easy parking.

Great Location

Good room in downtown Cooperstown

The room was clean and check-in was easy. Location can't be beat as it was easy 1/2 block from the center of Cooperstown. Easy walking distance to Doubleday Field and the Hall of Fame. It was very nice to leave the truck parked in the lot and not worry about parking.

Great place to stay!

In the heart of downtown Cooperstown. You can't get any closer to the Baseball Hall of Fame than this. Had a mishap on scheduling the hotel room and the management was very easy to work with on fixing my mistake.

Weekend getaway

My wife and I rented a room and friends rented another room there. Located right in the middle of everything there is to see in Cooperstown. Clean rooms and easy check in. Couldn’t ask for anything more. We were very pleased.
