Elk Haven House - Less than 5 min from Yellowstone Park! Beautiful views!

Beautiful and quiet 3 bedroom 2 bath home that comfortably sleeps 6, and is located less than 5 minutes from Yellowstone Park! Also, it’s a short walk from the property to access Gardiner’s downtown restaurants and shops! The property offers a perfect combination for guests; a quiet location away from the summer crowds joined with a close proximity to Yellowstone, Gardiner proper, and hiking trails. Wildlife is common in the area and neighborhood, so don't be surprised if you see elk, bison, deer, a fox, or bighorn sheep on or near the property.

The house has a 4 zone mini split AC/heat pump system to help keep a comfortable indoor temperature year round. The living room and each bedroom have their own dedicated AC/Heat pump wall mounted mini split unit. This system allows guests to individually set their desired bedroom and living room temperatures. Relax and sleep in comfort all year long! On those extra cold winter nights, there is a kitchen heater, along with baseboard heaters in the living room and bedrooms to provide extra warmth if needed.

Luxury vinyl plank flooring installed throughout the main level of the house. The house has a fully stocked kitchen including an electric range/oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, etc. Downstairs there is a washer and dryer for guests, along with a card table, tv, and dvd player.

After a long day in the park viewing wildlife or hiking, relax in the sauna or hot tub under the stars. Large backyard patio with chairs, table, fire pit, picnic bench, and bbq to help relax and enjoy the outdoors. Space X Starlink satellite WIFI is provided in addition to a living room 65" Samsung smart TV that is connected to a DVD/Blu-ray player.

Come visit Yellowstone and relax in the comfort of a home away from your home! Plenty of local activities including wildlife viewing, hiking, rafting, fishing, hot springs, horseback riding, etc.

The house had everything we needed for our Yellowstone stay. It was a great home base for us. We did not want to spend time eating out, so the full kitchen was greatly appreciated. The back yard is a wonderful place to view the sunset.

Great house for family trip to Yellowstone

The house lived up to its description, providing ample space for four adults and two children (nine and eleven years old). The comfortable beds, clean house, and stocked kitchen made it a great place to prepare breakfast and dinner.Each morning and evening, we got to see the elk in the yard. We even caught a glimpse of young calves nursing and playing.We did not use the hot tub or sauna but the back patio was pleasant. We had dinner one night at Wonderland Cafe and recommend it. If we ever make it back to the area we would definitely stay here again. Mark is a wonderful host.

Elk Haven was a great place for 2 older couples to stay on a long weekend visit to Yellowstone. It has every amenity and then some—and as we found when we set out on three mornings, it really IS an elk haven. Although we didn’t bring grandkids, it looked quite welcoming for families, too.

We enjoyed our short stay and I appreciate the owners allowing us to shorten our stay. The house was clean and well maintained. Everything you could need was there. We did not use any of the amenities, but everything looked in order. The owner was easy to work with and quick to reply. Check in was simple. The home is located in a beautiful area and super easy to get to. Super close to the north entrance of Yellowstone!

Fantastic

Our family absolutely loved this house. From the elk in the front yard to the sauna and hot tub in the back, there was something for everyone. We appreciated the well supplied kitchen and toiletries, as well as the abundance of games and movies. Super well thought out and excellent communication. Gardiner is a lovely town and the proximity to the north gate can’t be beat.

Definitely ELK HAVEN

The house was PERFECT for 6 adults. We really enjoyed evenings on the beautiful deck and put use to the spa, sauna, fire pit table and grill. The living room was extremely spacious and we enjoyed looking at all the wildlife photos. The kitchen space was also great for all of us. The entrance to Yellowstone was only .5 miles and the grocery store and shops were even closer. As the the elk, they were EVERYWHERE in this neighborhood, including our front yard. We all enjoyed watching these majestic creatures right in the driveway. We would all stay here again and I would highly recommend this rental to friends.

Gardiner Elk Haven

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely home. We saw elk and rabbits in the yard most days along with lovely Mountain View. Gardiner was a great home base to explore the park. It was a fun little town! The home was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend this property.

Great Stay in Gardiner

Spacious well equipped house with lovely views. Close enough to the amenities in Gardiner but far way enough to be peaceful. The hot tub was an added bonus. Perfect location for Yellowstone with Lamar valley, Mammoth, Canyon village all within easy reach.

WOW! Wonder of Wonders!

Fantabulous home, fantastic stay! Possibly the best VRBO we've ever stayed in. Granddaughter (8yrs) cried when it was time to leave and made us promise to bring her back someday. There's no way to adequately describe this wonderful home. Clean, roomy, comfortable, extremely well-appointed, and beautifully decorated are descriptors that just scrape the surface. Attention to every possible detail, nothing overlooked. Took less than five minutes to drive to Yellowstone NP or to the shops and restaurants in Gardiner. Elk grazed in the front yard every morning and evening. We loved using the hot tub and firepit every night after spending the day in Yellowstone. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with our three generations!

Elkhaven is a well kept, well stocked home in a great area close to the north entrance. Mark was very responsive to any questions we had. The whole rental process was a breeze!! Our family had a great time enjoying Yellowstone and the Tetons. We would definately rent Elkhaven again for any future visits !

Amazing Home

We visited with our adult children to spend time in Yellowstone. The house is absolutely beautiful and the host was amazing. The house sits within minutes to the Yellowstone entrance, and is walking distance to town. The inside has everything you need to make meals including a grill. We enjoyed using the hot tub and having laundry on site was such a great amenity. I have already told family about the home, and we are planning another trip and would definitely stay there again!
