The Farmhouse at Riveloup has just undergone a complete renovation from top to bottom. All new floors, doors, freshly painted walls, new bathrooms and newly decorated. We've also just bee accredited by 'Etoiles des France' of a 4 star rating for furnished holiday rental property for both the Farmhouse and Guest Cottage.

The upstairs Master Suite features a beautiful freestanding bath and walk-in shower. The house is decorated with soft tones to add to its relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy beautiful views of Bar-sur-Loup village, Gourdon and the mountains rising dramatically in the background. The terraces has new deck furniture and a large umbrellas.

Riveloup is situated on the Loup river in a hectare of beautiful flat private parkland near the Cote d'Azur villages of Le Bar-sur-Loup and Tourrettes-sur-Loup.

The soothing sound of the water lapping over the rocks creates a calming and therapeutic atmosphere whilst you relax poolside finding a quiet place within or lying on the hammock reading a book whilst enjoying the beautiful views. In the summer afternoons you'll hear the great sound of the singing Cicadas!

The views are tremendous on all sides, with the mountains rising dramatically in the background. Riveloup enjoys spectacular views of the Gorge du Loup and the hilltop Medieval Villages of Le Bar-sur-Loup and Gourdon.

Set in a magnificent flat lawned garden, planted with South of France umbrella pines, palms, olives and cedars. There is a big lavender patch, flowering oleander, jasmine, roses and an orchard.

On the south side is the front lawn and pool area with a fantastic 12 x 6m pool surrounded by sun terraces with several separate outdoor dining areas including a large shaded terrace with long family dining table.

Spacious and luxurious, Riveloup provides a peaceful environment for family and friends to get together for a relaxing holiday.

A beautiful 8 bedroom property consisting of a six-bedroom stone farmhouse, with 4 bathrooms (2 en-suite), and a separate spacious guest house with two en-suite bedrooms.

The property can accommodate up to 20 guests in regular beds (6 doubles and 8 singles), we also have 2 cots with mattresses for babies and 2 safety rails for toddlers in single beds.

It's a kids paradise with lots to keep the little ones busy (and save). There is a big football field, where you could play various ball games. The grounds are very big (1ha) and there are plenty of options to keep everyone entertained.

Facilities includes: Heated pool with inflatables toys, noodles etc, Gas BBQ, Traditional wood/coal BBQ, Weber, Outdoor tables and chairs, Ping-pong table, Parasols and sun-loungers, large playing field (football, rounders, cricket), Sandpit, large Trampoline, Hammock, ride-ons for small children (just ask us beforehand) and lots of parking. Petanque/boules.

The river is on the edge of the property, still safe for little ones as you can close the gate between us and the river, but it is a wonderful addition to the property. Children love to play in the shallow water and find tadpoles, frogs, tiny fish, making objects from the clay and watching butterflies and dragonflies. You can jump in to the deep end from the opposite side and relax in a tube on the river if you don't fancy the fresh water. There are also beautiful walks along the river and it's a great place to enjoy a cold glass of rose in the early evening.

The landing zone for the hang-gliders are only 5 min walk away along the river and it's great fun watching them coming in to land. You'll see many of them in the sky from the house, they get quite low down as it's so close to the landing zone.

The kids will enjoy finding fireflies in the garden and listening to the frogs croaking at night.

Access to Polygone, the American style open air giant shopping complex, is only 20 min away. You can be on the beaches of the Cote d'Azur in 45min, the lively villages of Valbonne, Grasse, Gourdon, Le Rouret, Tourrettes-sur-Loup, Le Bar-sur-Loup and St Paul de Vence are all between 10 and 20 min away.

Riveloup is the perfect spot for family reunions; it works really well having 2 separate houses, as you can put the quieter group in one house and young children in the other. It also helps having 2 kitchens, especially at breakfast time when some may want to have a more quiet and relax morning and others dealing with demands from little ones.

The kitchen in the Farmhouse has 2 ovens and 2 dishwashers to ease the cooking and cleaning tasks; spent less time cooking and cleaning and more time at the pool! Additional oven and dishwasher in the guest house.

We also have 2 washing machines in the main house and one dryer and one washing machine and heated drying rack in the guest house, this helps a lot to cut time spent in the laundry.

Riveloup provides you with a lot of inside and outside space to cope with the demand of large parties.
It is important to take the utilities in to consideration when booking accommodation for large parties, as regular size houses with 5 to 8 bedrooms often can't handle the volumes.
