Our lovingly restored 1790s farmhouse is the perfect place to spend a relaxing day in the Finger Lakes. Your room is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful and historic furnishings, and has an attached private bathroom with a tiled shower. Exposed brick walls and hand hewn beams show off the craftsmanship of a bygone era. Your comfort is ensured with your own heat pump/air conditioner, which is sustainably powered by our solar array. Whether you are enjoying the picturesque view from your bed or spending time with a book in the hammock, you will appreciate the gorgeous views of the surrounding hillsides and our idilic barn and carriage house. After a filling farm-fresh breakfast, you are welcome to take a stroll around our 19 acres of pasture, or explore the nearby wineries, breweries, lakeside parks and waterfalls. Fabulous local shopping, theaters, restaurants and markets are just a short drive away in Ithaca.

Beautiful Getaway Near Ithaca & Finger Lakes

Allison & her husband have fully renovated a historic farmhouse with plenty of history. The room is very comfortable and has it's own bathroom with shower. The homemade breakfast they served was also delicious and amazing. This is a great place to stay if you are looking to visit either the Finger Lakes region or Ithaca which is about 15-20 minutes away by car.

From Barn to Table

Our hosts were wonderful and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure us a most relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious and prepared with the kind of love you can taste. The property was beautiful. The barn venue’s beauty was breathtaking and left me wanting to say I do all over again. The passion and hard work that was put into this place is seen in every single detail.

A short drive from Ithaca

Allie was a thoughtful host, and made sure to stay in touch prior to our visit, with regular messages. Her artistic flair is evident in the decor of the rooms and also in the hearty breakfasts she served us each morning. I recommend this place as a perfect get away spot.- close to Cornell and the Ithaca College but nicely tucked away in farm country.

Beautiful weekend get-away

We were so pleased with our stay at Spring Trail Farm! Allie was so warm and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the personal tour of the gardens and barn, and learning about all the renovations that she and her husband have made to this beautiful old property. They have really done an amazing job with the whole property, but the farmhouse in particular is just so lovely, and every piece of furniture and decoration looks like it was meant to be! We also really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub at night, and the delicious breakfast of savory and sweet crepes Allie made for us in the morning! Would highly recommend this inn, either for a weekend away or for an event!

The perfect getaway at an old fashioned B n B

Rest assured this old house is in good hands. Allie and Kurt did a wonderful job of showcasing the history of this farm house while still giving a comfortable modern feel. This is a true BnB with five star hospitality. The breakfast they provided was phenomenal! The area is very peaceful and it is only a short ride away to get to winery’s or downtown Ithaca. We are looking forward to going back.
