My group of eight friends(youthful 60-69 yr old grannies)have been coming to LAH for the past fifteen yrs & staying in a camper rv area, this year we rented this VRBO for five nights in August. WE LOVED IT!The kitchen was fully equipped(pots,pans,dishes,glasses,bowlswaffle toaster,coffee pot,kuerig,electric griddle)2 refrigerators,great for xtra ice And even a wet bar area The beds were clean,freshly made & comfortable.The bathrooms were clean & supplied with sh/condi/body wash,TP & even bowl cleaner & brush.The concrete floors downstairs were clean & the carpeted areas upstairs vacuumed.There were four sitting areas outside. The gazebo area we utilized, morning & evening's (spectacular views of sunrise & sunsets. The views of the water!!oh my!Thank you Jen! Thank you housekeeper!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at your home and enjoying this beautiful lake. Both the inside and outside features of this property made our stay enjoyable. Beautiful lake house

My kids and I stayed at the house. It was an amazing property! The views were beautiful, and the house amazing too. The check in process was very easy. Jennifer the owner or property manager, was very helpful. We didn't arrive until 12:30 am the first night and she was still available to help us get in. She was very responsive the whole time we were there.

A Warm Welcome Every Time: Our Favorite Getaway Spot

As repeat visitors, our family of five once again had a fantastic time at this lakefront property on Lake Alan Henry. From the moment we arrived with our boat in tow, we knew we were in for another memorable vacation. The property truly delivers on all its promises. We made full use of the amenities, including: Spacious garage. Two well-maintained refrigerators, which easily accommodated our family's needs Convenient washer and dryer, a godsend for active families Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, providing ample space and privacy for everyone A fully-equipped kitchen that made meal prep a breeze Everything was in excellent working order, just as advertised. The quiet surroundings allowed us to fully relax and unwind, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The highlight of our stay was, of course, the lake itself. The nearby boat ramp made it easy to get out on the water, and we spent a full, glorious day enjoying all that Lake Alan Henry has to offer. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an active water-based vacation, this property checks all the boxes. Its reliability, comfort, and prime location keep us coming back year after year. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely weekend getaway

This is wonderful and beautiful property. We enjoyed every minute of it. The owner was very nice and attentive. Everything worked as it should be. We went down to the lake a few times and brought our boat with us. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home at the lake with amazing views, access to private boat ramp

My husband and I, our 2 kids (ages 5 and 2), and my in laws stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was stocked with everything we needed, including 2 fridges to hold all of the groceries we brought down, as well as both a charcoal and a propane grill. We brought our ski boat and a fishing boat and took both out on the water. The owners were fast to respond to questions and handled all issues promptly. We will definitely book this property again.

We will be back!!

We booked this for 11 adults when my daughter graduated from tech. All of the properties in Lubbock were overpriced and small. When we saw this one just an hour from Lubbock we thought it was too good to be true. The pictures online when we booked this property did NOT do it justice. The pictures were beautiful but the house and grounds were even more amazing in person. Communication with the property manager/owners was quick and helpful. We will be returning when our travels bring us anywhere close to Lubbock.

Desert Oasis

Wow! This property is so beautiful among an amazing neighborhood of gorgeous homes. The views of the lake from the windows are breathtaking and the quick access to the lake is amazing. It is only a few beautifully and artistically landscaped minutes down from the house. You will want to visit frequently throughout the day! Our sons just bought a boat and had such a great time fishing! We had an incredible holiday and had such an amazing experience with the host
they are fantastic and we enjoyed our stay immensely!

Great house but overall poor experience.

The house was fairly clean when we got there. We had 2 adults and 6 kids staying and could find only about 5-6 bath towels we could use. Over the course of our stay, we rotated those 5-6 towels and just washed them daily so that we had enough for each shower. However, after we left, we were notified that the owner filed an insurance claim on us for theft of bath towels. We texted her immediately to let her know that we washed, dried, and folded the towels prior to our departure and put them in the master cabinet where we found them. She claimed the housekeeper had looked everywhere and was ultimately unable to account for the missing bath towels. After trying every which way to work it out with her, including paying her for towels we did not steal, she did not remove the claim. I’m sure this will negatively impact us in future when we try to rent another home. It was just towels, but it was obvious that the towels were not there when we got there. So the they either just wanted us to buy them some towels or did not manage their home well enough to know they were already gone when we get there.
