Lakefront home on Lake Madison! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home includes 100 feet of beach and South Dakota sunsets. Newly fully furnished and decorated with 1 king and 2 queen beds, 4 smart TVs, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime available. Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave, as well as a washer and dryer and bbq grill. Enjoy relaxing on the deck or around the fire pit. Get closer to the water on the private dock.
*Please be advised, the dock is installed by a third party and may not be in the water depending on time of year and weather conditions. Boats are not to be tied up overnight due to potential storms accompanied by high winds

The host was responsive and great! The house was very clean and comfortable. A great place to stay while in town for a tour of SDSU and the football game. It wasn't a bad drive to Brookings and nice to have room to hang out instead of a hotel. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

Lake Madison - 40 years later

From making the reservation and up until the moment we arrived, the owner was extremely accommodating, quick to reply and super easy to work with, along with a personalized touch as she knew 'why' we were coming to the lake. The property was clean and well maintained, everything functioned and what was said to be provided, was indeed. We were also able to dock our boat during the day on the small dock with our bumpers attached. A wonderful experience for my family and I, as I made the return to the lake after 40 years.

Great location!

House is near the Walker’s Point boat ramp and there was plenty of room to park our boat close to the house. Perfect size for our family and was nice to have a bath in the primary bedroom. We’ll be back!

A great place!

We stayed for 4 nights in July. It was a great set-up there! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with the stuff we needed- beach towels, toilet paper, bedding, etc. The beach was awesome to have- it was a little rocky so I would suggest some water shoes. The water was also a bit green but that is normal for lakes this time of year and didn't affect our swimming! We fished and caught quite a few bass off the dock. There is a park about half a block down which was very well maintained and my kids had a blast. My only critique is that there aren't many storage containers for food. Would have been nice to have some Rubbermaid's for storing left overs. The a/c worked great, fridge,stove etc did too! The lake was not busy- probably the busiest Saturday night but maybe 3-5 boats out on the lake so it was pretty quiet. We had a fire our last night in the fire pit. No mosquitos- a few flies but nothing too bothersome! In town we went to some thrift stores, Herman Lake State Park (lots of playgrounds!), fished, and shopped at a few stores. My son has asked multiple times when we can go back!

House was great! AC was awesome, steps from a park and great community. Owners were very accommodating on our request to extend our stay. Highly recommend.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed the lake and the cabin. It was a perfect place to meet family, relax, watch football and explore the lake and area. Madison is a great small town and the restaurants on the lake offer great food and good atmosphere. Demi is very responsive and easy to work with.

Perfect for our family!

We have a cabin at Lake Madison & needed additional sleeping space. This cabin was perfect! Extremely convenient location, VERY clean, comfortable beds, everything we needed! The sunset views were added bonus! Thank you, Thank you!!
