Relaxing private venue with native bird life (including kiwi), Kawau Lodge is a paradise that invites a wonderful combination of relaxation and a diverse range of activities.
All king rooms afford fantastic views of beautiful North Cove and surrounds, Also includes a large, well equipped private kitchen with commercial grade Nespresso coffee machine and well appointed lounge room with wood fire to keep you cosy and warm during those cooler months. The outdoor dining areas are situated to optimise the spectacular views from the lodge's wrap around deck areas. All whilst providing a wonderful range of water activities, hikes and relaxation for your special getaway.
The property has been completely renovated since 2016 and now includes conference/movie facilities, outdoor lounge spaces, an events area, its own jetty and a cabana. There are a wide range of activities available, including row boats, kayaking, fishing and swimming, paddle-boarding and hiking.
The retreat is nestled into acres of beautiful green space that includes tropical landscaped gardens. Catering can be provided by yourself, or be arranged with Nebalicas caterers in Warkworth who will ship it to you via Kawau Cruises.

Kawau Lodge has its own mooring line. Guests can reach it approximately 30 minutes boat trip from Sandspit Wharf, being a small coastal settlement approximately 5 kilometers east of the town of Warkworth being 40 minutes from Auckland via the Northern Motorway System. Access to island is available via the Kawau water taxi service. Is located at the gateway to the Northland region.
