Very windy experience

Felt bad for the host. We had a storm during this particular stay and the property sustained wind damages. All in all served our purpose. The host was very good.

It was so peaceful. It was off season. So you pretty much have the property to yourself. Cute, and comfortable bungalow. Local restaurants with very good food.

July 4th Lake Time

Family have lake place in ajointing protery around the cove, so easy walk to there place. Just use cabins for bed, shower and overflow fridge space.

Hidden Gem

The location is absolutely perfect. Yes, it’s small, but the reviews note the same. Who spends time in the bungalow with a lake literally in front of you? The bungalow is plenty big for 2 adults. There is a swimming area as well and deer everywhere. The property & bungalow are very clean. I will definitely return. As an added bonus the communication with the owner is outstanding. I highly recommend this location.

Love view. No cover on porch super hot bad weather since no cover had to bring everything in. Air Conditioner so loud woke me up with a start all night. Grills filthy old chicken on grill. Grills rusty only half part there. Chairs loungers all shredded.

Loved this experience

We had a great time at this little bungalow. The property was beautiful, it was so nice to be right on the water and we woke up with the resident deer right outside our door. The cove was a great place for swimming or just floating around in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Not a lot of room for extra luggage so just pack light. I accidentally left a few items behind and the host was amazing and had it in the mail to me the next day. We will definitely be coming back.

After check in great!

Thank goodness for people working around the place helping us! No communication possible or provided to help check in did check until 5:45pm vacation time is precious, stress is not! Provide future guest with room code and check in procedures! Don’t rely on people you employ to do a job that is not theirs and take the brunt of unhappy guests, that why you get paid! Otherwise charming accommodations and grounds staff are great!

PK Lake Golden Cove

Renting this property was a great and easy process. Property manager Jessie was fabulous. The property was well kept m. We rented a boat from the property and the manager was great in getting us back as we Missed the turn into the cove. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and the stay. Thank you for everything!

Getaway at Golden Cove

The bungalow at Golden Cove was very clean. Linens were provided, but pots and pans were not so you will want to bring cooking stuff with you for inside and for the great outside grill. The kitchenette has a two burner stove, microwave oven, sink, and refrigerator. Bring extension cords too! One negative thing: The bathroom doesn’t have an electrical outlet for a hair dryer. Overall, we loved our stay there and definitely would go again!!!

Pretty cool place

Definitely no WiFi, not sure why they don’t provide pots, pans or silverware, but they don’t. A few lightbulbs missing when we arrived, picnic bench was falling apart but we used the grill anyway
 people are nice, property not well maintained but we still enjoyed our stay. There are millions of deer, skunks, and stray cats around. Deer will eat your food if you turn your back, so watch out ;) had no idea that was a thing. Definitely bit afraid if humans. Lake is beautiful.
