Location is Great!

Our family group loved being able to walk back and forth to the beach easily without having to take or park a car. We also walked to Dock Square, although it is a bit further. The location of this home is really great and it is well appointed with a great kitchen, lovely back deck and two living areas. The bedrooms are small but very nice. With warm weather, even in early September, we spent a lot of time at the beach and felt lucky to have sunny days. However, with the heat and humidity, we would have really appreciated air conditioning during a few of our days and nights. We had a great stay in Kennebunk and enjoyed the vibe of the Maine coast!

Wonderful stay overall

We enjoyed our stay in Kennebunkport very much. The house was very clean with comfortable and stylish furnishings and a well-appointed kitchen. The proximity to the beach and town was terrific; we enjoyed exploring! The only downside (and reason I didn’t give 5 stars) was the lack of air conditioning. We had some very hot and uncomfortable nights, and the fans just didn’t help much. I realize that a/c isn’t listed in the description, but I am so used to rentals having it that I completely missed that detail. Air conditioning just would’ve made us all a lot more comfortable. Still, we had a great trip overall and would return (with more fans)!

Great Location, Beautiful Home

Beautiful home in a great location. We enjoyed our family vacation although it was unusually hot & no AC made it extremely difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall the house is well appointed and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation.

Darling Beach House

Our family got together for a week at this charming beach house, some from California, some from the Boston area. We had plenty of room for the six of us, 5 adults and 1 two-year-old. Great to have the BBQ, since we cooked in most nights. And it was a nice, short walk to the beach. The house had plenty of beach towels and toys, kitchenware, and games. We loved taking walks in the quiet neighborhood, and also along the beach sidewalk. It’s a lovely area, and Gooch’s Beach is huge, with plenty of sand for our little one to play in. Weather was mostly great, from warm days to a couple of rainy ones. The fans in the bedrooms helped a lot in keeping it cool at night. We would be happy to stay there again.

Wonderful Beach House

Great beach house with a short walk to beautiful beach! We thoroughly enjoyed this clean and spacious house for one last beach week before school started. Perfect set up for families and nice amenities like outdoor shower and deck with table and chairs. Beach was so close and gorgeous. There’s also a sidewalk by the beach that goes even further around the coast for walks and runs. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house in Kennebunk

We had a wonderful vacation week at this house. The house was newly renovated and everything from the floors to the furniture to the beds and bedding is all brand new. It is beautifully decorated. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It is so much bigger than it looks from the outside. There are two family rooms with Smart TVs for entertainment, a large dinning table and outdoor eating area on the deck. It is a short 5min walk to the beach and the owner provides some beach supplies (chairs, toys) and a cart for carrying your beach gear which is helpful. The house is located on a nice quiet street a short drive from the center of town. The only downsides were no AC (nights were cool enough with the windows down) and no bath tub for young kids. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend renting this house for a relaxing beach getaway.

Perfect Kennebunk house & location!

We were so happy upon arrival at such a beautifully appointed home. The owner was prompt to reply anytime we initiated communication. The location was an easy walk to Gooch Beach and an easy bike ride to town. We enjoyed kayaking, a sail on the Pineapple, trolley tour and much more that the area had to offer. Great vacation for our entire family!

Perfection!

This a a wonderful beach house perfectly appointed for your vacation stay in Kennebunk. Loved everything about it! Cosy and comfortable. Major fan of the outdoor shower after a day at the beach! Excellent location - short walk to beach and enjoyable bike ride into Kport for a visit to the Candyman!
