**Enjoy the culture and beauty of a Berkshires/Tanglewood summer from cozy furnished apartments of this 1840 historic house! SUMMER SEASON RENTALS are preferred from 01June-15Sept for the ONE bedroom, TWO bedroom apartments, both, up stairs, all with private entrances and private fenced in patio areas,--great for bbq, morning coffee in pj's, or tomatoes and herbs ready for you. On the second floor of this 1840 in town Lenox farmhouse.
Plus a 2 bedroom main floor newly remodeled unit, and also a private bed/bath suite. Available SUMMER, or for a year round rental. NO SMOKING, NO PETS, please.
**Large shared wooded backyard, your own small private fenced in area for tomatoes, herbs, bbqing privately but NO ANIMALS PLEASE. Pool installation and Landscaping is behind scheduled to be installed --I will keep you updated, bbq, firepit. Walk to downtown coffeeshops, restaurants and galleries. Close to Kennedy Park, equestrian facilities, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking the Appalachian Trail. Only 4 miles from BSO/Tanglewood. Close to Edith Wharton jazz and French, Shakespeare and Co Theatre, Williamstown Theatre, Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival.
** This is not a luxury high end, modern rental, but instead a very homey, private, clean, comfortable, historic, remodeled in town1840 farmhouse. Large rooms, wood floors, parking. Shared vegetable garden. Poolhouse, pool, and gardens are in development.
SUMMER PRICING:
RENTALS ARE A ONE WEEK MINIMUM. PREFER A MONTH LONG RENTAL. My second floor contains a:
*one bedroom/1bath, $1850 wk, prefer discounted monthly rental
*two bedroom/1bath, $2200 wk, prefer discounted monthly rental.
Both with full kitchens, fully furnished, both with private entrances, and private fenced in patios, and a shared large backyard .
The main floor contains a newly remodeled: *2 bedroom/2 bath unit, very lovely. Porch and porch swing, full kitchen, all new. $3000 wk, prefer discounted monthly rental.
*As well, there is a private New bedroom and bathroom SUITE only on the main floor. $1500 wk
*Cash, check in advance, or Venmo only. This is a private, not corporate rental, so no credit cards.
**If you have a larger group renting, both upstairs apartments can easily be interconnected through a back hallway! In the process of being tastefully and simply furnished and rennovated. More photos forthcoming; I recently bought the house! Available for Fall long term rental at a much reduced price. Just ask. Come for the summer, and stay year round.renovated.

I am an international creature having been an Int'l Airline Flight Attendant Purser my entire career. I enjoy cultural offerings-- concerts--all kinds, theatre, dance, art galleries, some sports, great conversations, meeting new interesting creative folks, volunteering. Those were denied to me growing up on an Iowa farm, though the fresh air, quietness, and peacefulness were lovely also.

BSO Tanglewood, and summer offerings, was the big draw to this desireable town of Lenox. Walkable to many things--restaurants, galleries, Appalacian Trail, even Tanglewood!

Eventually a pool, poolhouse and gardens will be offered. Shared veggie garden. Main Street, Lenox, very desireable location. A cozy one bedroom, or larger two bedroom, or a suite only offered. Not stuffy at all, more farmhouse country comfort.
