Incredible place to stay

Beautiful location, responsive and accommodating host, we all had a great time. There was a minor incident involving a broken board in a bed but it was sorted quickly. Incredible place to stay, would love to come back!

The house exceeded our expectations in every way. We found it very well equipped, extremely comfortable and brilliantly spacious for two families holidaying together. The setting is wonderfully peaceful but also extremely accessible The owners were kind and thoughtful and made us feel very welcome. We felt very lucky to have found this place. Positive: The house is decorated with soul, functional layout, great quality of equipment. A dream house, you can function great, there are horses and donkeys next door. A great place to relax with children, everything is in place for them both in the house and in the yard, playground, balls, play tables. Large garage, everything is well lit. We met the owner who took care of our comfort from the very beginning.

Perfect stay, highly recommended

Thank you, Gilles and Agathe, for the beautiful house. It was extremely clean and very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The location was great — only a 20-minute drive to the slopes in La Clusaz and just 4 minutes from the supermarket. The surrounding landscape was absolutely beautiful. There were also many activities to enjoy, such as the pool, darts, and board games. Everything was neat and very well maintained. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place.

A Family Getaway Surrounded by Nature

We had a great stay at this chalet with stunning scenery and plenty of outdoor space. The kids loved the horses, chickens, and farm dog, which really made the experience special. The house was well-equipped, and the location near Thônes village made shopping and activities very convenient. We’d definitely recommend this property for families.

Cozy family stay

The house is perfect for a large family. It is well-equipped and spacious, with kid-friendly surroundings and within a reasonable drive from the city. The whole house atmosphere feels very cozy for wintertime and for spending quality time together. Loved our days spent in this one.

Cozy and comfortable

It’s a beautiful and large house in a great location for skiing. Kids had lots of things to do indoors and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was set up for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful house

La Ferme du Cortet is a beautiful house in the most wonderful and awe-inspiring setting and surpassed in every way our expectations. with those amazing mountain views to discover upon waking up! And such peace and tranquillity and yet only a few minutes away are a great selection of restaurants and several supermarkets so shopping is so easy and convenient. There is so much space, both indoors and outdoors, so people could do whatever without getting in each other’s way. We’ve never stayed in a place so thoughtfully and well-equipped! It’s clear that the owners have taken special care and gone to great lengths to ensure the property had everything we could possibly need—and then some! Not to mention the wildlife, especially the charming jingle of the bells around the cows’ necks and the deer we spotted in the same meadow. The games provided complemented the ones we’d brought along, and my son-in-law, whose mother is French, was particularly delighted to find the “yellow dwarf” there! It brought back childhood memories for him! We were three generations staying and the youngest really loved having a snooker table which was much used! It should be noted that because of the house’s location there is little or no mobile signal and we did find the wi-fi a little unstable but this was a very minor point and was far outweighed by the many plus factors. The owners deserve praise for the care and love they have clearly poured into this property, and we would have gladly stayed longer—the house and its surroundings are simply magnificent and have left a long-lasting, very good memory.

Cycling paradise, great time.

We (8 adults) loved the house and environment during our cycling holiday! The house was in a marvelous environment, very well furnished and everything was amply stocked. We had a great time, rested in the garden and used the BBQ and grill.

Tranquil countryside retreat

The holiday home is fantastic, lovingly furnished and excellently equipped. There is a pond, ducks, a dog, and a stream in the huge grounds. The house has a pool room, table football, and darts. Beautifully situated in the countryside and Gille was the perfect host.

We felt very much at home in Sylvie and Gilles' house. The old farmhouse has been beautifully restored and is very well equipped, even for small children. It has a wonderful location, far from Thones, surrounded by pure nature. However, a car is needed for shopping.

A Peaceful Retreat Perfect for Large Groups

The farm is located in a quiet, isolated place. The garden is huge, with a nice pétanque track and a lovely pond where we actually took morning swims now and then. The house is extremely well equipped, with plenty of space and lots of rooms where you can have fun, read, watch TV, and so on. I definitely recommend it for large groups (we were 6 adults and 4 children aged 10 to 17), and it was just great. Gilles, the host, and his dad were always very prompt in accommodating our requests. Overall, an amazing place, and we were truly sorry to leave.

This is a fantastic property in a beautiful setting which provides a brilliant base to explore Lake Annecy and the surrounding area. We were two families (5 and 4) and the farmhouse provides lots of comfortable living space and loads of outdoor space. The children particularly enjoyed the Pool and Football table and they also enjoyed swimming in the pond! Everything was finished to a high standard and we had everything we needed! We loved the horses and dog that were on the farm too! Excellent communication from the owner Giles. We had such a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful time at the house.

We had the most wonderful time at the house. It was perfect for us - we were a large group wanting to split our time between the lake and mountains. Gilles was very responsive and helpful. The house and garden were absolutely great. There was loads to keep everyone occupied - from the pool table, table football to the little stream next to the house. The kids loved playing outside and we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the mountains. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful house.
