This 3-bedroom soundside home in Kill Devil Hills is ideal for small families looking to escape to the ocean for a few days! You can even bring your pup, because High Five is now dog-friendly! To spend the day relaxing by the sea, a short 2-minute (0.4-mile) drive will take you to the Hayman Blvd. Beach Access with paved parking!

As you step into this cozy home, you'll be greeted with comfortable furnishings, coastal décor, gorgeous floors and plenty of natural light. Gather the family together in the living area for family movie night or to catch up on your favorite TV show. When you get hungry, it will be easy to prepare a masterpiece in the spacious kitchen with modern appliances, plenty of prep space and a large bar with seating for 2. The adjacent dining area is the perfect place to pull out your favorite board game or a deck of cards for a little family competition when you aren't enjoying a meal together!

You'll rest easy in a well-lit Master Queen Bedroom with a large closet and an attached Full Bath with a tub/shower combo. Another full-sized hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo is shared by a second Queen Bedroom and a final bedroom with a Full/Double Bed. When you get hungry, stop by Chilli Peppers Coastal Grill for a quick, delicious meal or drive down to Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar for fresh, locally sourced seafood. For your caffeine fix, stop by Front Porch Café and grab a hot or cold coffee to take back to your rental. Property OK, but was in a sketchy area

The cottage itself was OK. We were a bit put off by the area it was in. A lot of locals there, and some of the properties were not well maitained. We were also directly next to a noisey auto dealership. Although the cottage was adequately appointed, our biggest gripe was with the kitchen. Not a lot of dishes, and some of the pots and pans had to be cleaned thoroughly cleaned before we could use them. The bedroom with the attached bath had no exhaust fan, and the showere liner did nothing to keep water from dripping onto the bath floor. We also encountered a faulty entry lock at 9:00 PM one evening, which requred a call to the propert manager and a lot of work to gain entry. A locksmith came the next morning to repai/ replace parts. Although he was very pleasant and professional, this is not what we expect for what we paid for the rental. I would not stay at this property again in the future.

We found 2 cockroaches running on the walls. Neighborhood was busy. Bathrooms where clean.
