From its prime location directly on the Gulf of Mexico, this waterfront condo boasts a furnished balcony overlooking the pool and the adjacent beach as well as a bright, tastefully decorated, and very inviting interior. Step through the front door and find yourself in the well-equipped, full kitchen ready to help you prepare your favorite recipes during your stay. Dine together at the table for six, and then pick a spot on the cozy sectional sofa and watch some TV in the adjacent living area. Guests will also enjoy access to the shared pool as well as convenient beach access.

What's nearby:
For dining out, there are several local eateries within easy walking distance, including Janino's Pizza (offering takeout and delivery) right across the road. Within a mile or so of this condo take your pick from, Bahama Bob's Beach Side Cafe, the Hangout Gulf Shores, and Pink Pony Pub offer dining and drinks right on the sand. And for family-friendly fun, visit Waterville USA and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, both within a couple miles of this vacation rental, as well as Gulf State Park for hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing, three miles east.

This condo was so convenient to the beach and pool. It was clean and ready for us. Loved the balcony beach views. We would stay again here for sure.

Great vacation

There were no cabinets to store our clothes
no bath mat, andb no hangers. It would have been nice to know we needed to bring our own hangers. The elevator was sub par
.All in all, we had a great trip but those things could have been better
Also, the fitted bed sheet did not come close to covering the mattress’s.

This place is a dump. So much smaller than pics depicted. Not clean. Really appeared run down and in need of updating, ie. patches in sheet rock not even finished(no paint), raggedy door to master br, needs painting, kitchen is tiny, master bedroom is tiny and it’s en suite bathroom is so outdated and sad. We had 4 of us on trip and were told that we were allowed no visitors at all. 4 people was max capacity. We had llans to prepare a great dinner for 2 friends that live in the area and were told that in no way could we invite 2 guests to our room because it would be over 4 capacity. I have been going to orange beach/gulf shores beach my entire life and stayed in condos every time and Not 1 time have I heard of such complete and total nonsense. The place was 2 bedrooms and had a couch pull out bed—that will sleep at least 6 people. Tried to explain to the corporate office that no one would be staying over the entire night-just dinner and a little chill time. Absolutely NOT was the answer from the main office. The woman I spoke with was a bit rude and harsh and told me they would kick us out if we dared break the rules. It seemed like she was threatening me on our phone call. It was completely baffling to me as I have never had to deal with such outlandish “rules”. I was already upset and beyond disappointed with the condition of the unit and the office staff rudeness was just the icing on the crap cake they were serving. I gave a 1 cause 0 wasn’t an option. Never recommended

Nicely furnished condo

The condo is decorated nicely and was very clean. I would suggest some general maintenance be done to brighten up the place, but we did enjoy our stay and would stay there again.

Too Expensive

old and rusty....walls need painting and total updates needed for master bathroom. Parking is outrageous....$30.00 and only available for one parking spot. Wanted to spend 2-3 weeks but parking $90.00 laughable. The OCEAN HOUSE 1 office was NEVER open.

Mid room, good walk to the beach

The walk to the beach was great! It had great and easy access with minimal walking distance. The room was not as great. The dishes were dirty in the cabinets, there was rust around all the bathroom sinks and there were patches of different colored paint around the towel holders. Overall, good location and nice staff, but needs updating to the room.

Not as expected

The condo had great views, but the interior needs some work. The ottoman in the living room was coming apart. Closet doors coming off the rail. Mattress sheets were way too small and were popping off the mattress. Showers were slow to drain. Light bulbs were out in the dining fixture.

Perfect getaway.

The condo was perfect for my 16 yo daughter, her friend and my wife and I. Great view of the gulf and just down the beach from all the local dining. Will definitely be rebooking next year.

Needs TLC and disclaimer

The unit had large puddles in the kitchen and dining area when we arrived and we had to mop up before unloading our things. There is a dehumidifier on wheels that needs to be changed every 4 hours to keep the condo dry. I wish this was advertised so we'd be aware. If you cannot lift a 20lb water bucket from floor to dump in the sink several times a day, then don't book this unit. Because we arrived a day late, the bucket was not emptied and water accumulated on the floors and the furniture was damp. Do not leave the condo for the whole day or puddles of standing water will develop. Master bedroom bed is broken, Ottoman in living room is shredded on top, shower curtain is hung too high and the floor of bathroom floods which is probably why there is mold in the corners. Pros are the view, beach access and the pool. I would not book again at this price

Great view

Great view from the balcony, beds were very comfortable, pillows a little flat. This condo ciuld use some TLC though. Floor could have used another wipe down. No towel hooks, no beach towels so plan accordingly. A few sand toys, chairs, and a boogie board in the patio closet which was nice. Appliances have some wear but in working order. Vacasa was great to deal with, quick in answering questions. Didn't need anything specifically from them but they checked in throughout the trip.

Gulf shores vacation

Overall room was clean and appeared more “put together” and appealing than some other places. Shower was a little quirky but we weren’t in the room much. Access to the beach was easy and pool was nice.
