This listing has its own private entrance on the right side of the main house driveway, private access to upstairs apartment only, No yard, laundry, or garage access. The thermostat is locked to a normal and reasonable range to conserve energy and keep you comfortable. The thermostat is located in the main house, and you can control how much AC or heat you receive in your unit by opening or closing the vents, and opening and closing your windows and / or balcony door for a nice breeze.
*We are at the lighter end of the airport flight path. We have double pane windows for extra comfort but most of the time we don't even notice when the windows are open.

(if under 21 please inquire first) • No smoking is allowed at any of our properties • Overnight occupancy (including children and infants) is not to exceed the posted maximum occupancy. Occupancy is defined by the total number of people at the property at any time.
****NO PARTIES AT ANY TIME – a party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance and forfeiture of all deposits. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by Southern California Rentals in writing prior to the arrival date.
Pets Considered at most properties, please inquire first rather than using instant book when bringing a pet. Pets must be screened for Breed, size and behavior and approved before a reservation is made. Pet fee of up to $195 per pet applies. Please do not bring additional unpaid guests or pets on property without prior written permission.
Vacation Rental Agreement will be emailed to you for your digital signature and initials before your trip. You will receive check in instructions after the rental agreement is signed. State of CA also requires a COVID Advisory form to be signed by ALL Entrants before Entry! Please provide all guest's full names and emails at the time of booking.
The Cleaning fee is charged to cover the cost of professional cleaning and time of Laundering bedding and towels which are provided clean for each guest. Professional cleaning of 5 man hours is provided in this fee. Excessive dirtiness may require more than 5 man hours to bring the house back to the level of cleanliness it was provided for guests' arrival, this will be charged to the guest out of the deposit if more than 5 man hours of cleaning is necessary to return it to the level of cleanliness it was in for guests' arrival. Please empty your bagged trash into the outside black and blue (for recycling) cans. Only dispose of bagged trash in cans, and wash and put away dishes before checkout.
For long term stays of over 29 days, we require you to pass a rental application, results are immediate, it checks rent history, credit and criminal background, cost is $45 per applicant. We reserve the right to refuse a reservation if any occupant over 18 years of age refuses the rental application or does not pass it. Unless a rental application has been approved, We also request that you get a PO Box as we do not accept mail at this property for short term guests. Packages from Amazon and other stores are not affected by this.

Clean, new apartment
Everything was very clean and seemed brand new. Kitchen was fully stocked with pans and utensils. Huge closet and lots of little touches like iron, blow dryer, water filter, etc that were nice. Pictures matched reality, there were no unpleasant surprises. Only downside is the location is good, but not ideal. Airplane traffic is loud and consistent until 11pm and starts up again around 630am. Nice neighborhood, very nice houses, felt safe and close to restaurants, grocery store, bars etc, but not very walkable to those things. Have to drive to the beach so get ready to battle traffic and for parking for a beach day. Great, clean, new apartment with fantastic amenities. Good fit for up to two people with a car.
