The Alki Beachaus

The Alki Beachaus is located about half a block from Alki Beach, allowing for easy access to the beach, restaurants, and bars along the beach. Being half a block away, the property is also insulated from a majority of the noise on the beach so you can enjoy a quiet and comfy experience in the house. There is also super fast WiFi!

You will be staying in an 1,100 sq ft daylight basement of a split level home with two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a dining area, spacious living room, and fully featured kitchenette. Several windows illuminate the space brightly. One of the great advantages is that the space stays relatively cool all year round. Nearly all of the windows open up to allow the breeze to bring in the crisp ocean smell into the space. If the space gets too hot or cold, the home is equipped with central heating, and air conditioning to ensure that you will be comfortable! The space has its own separate and private entrance. The entryway has access to a washer and dryer free of charge if you need to use them. You will enter the space from a side gate from the front of the house. Parking will consist of street parking near our home (within 1 block), but may not be directly in front of the home. The backyard is fully fenced and features a fire pit and gas grill.

The hosts live upstairs and have two young children (5 and 7 yr olds). The children may occasionally be heard downstairs (footsteps, talking, laughing). They go to bed at 8pm and are great sleepers! The hosts can respond to any concern quite rapidly, but will not interrupt your visit or intrude on your space.

Please note that the backyard is a shared space and you might interact with the hosts or the children in that space. The washer and dryer on site are free to use, but are shared with the hosts.
