Quaint Apartment in Gorgeous Waynesboro

We had a great stay during our recent trip to Waynesboro! Centrally located, if you are okay with a little street & train noise, this far exceeds a hotel. Spacious, clean and perfect for our small family. Thanks for having us :)

Weekend music trip

We came down from DC to catch a show at the Foundry. This location was perfect as it was walking distance to the venue and we each had our own room. It also has a large covered porch that was great for having a couple of drinks as the sun went down before going to the show.

Clean and spacious

Thank you for making our stay enjoyable! Quiet & safe area of town, very clean and provided with clean towels and sheets. Comfortable beds. Very affordable. Some of the lights didn’t work. We heard stomping a few times in the night from the upstairs neighbors. I would stay here again and would recommend it!

Exactly what we needed

Needed an overnight stay on our trip home. This worked out great. When we checked in we were hungry. Great chicken takeout within walking distance. We lucked out and the 4th of July fireworks in town was the night we were there. We could see them from right in front of the house. Beds were comfortable so we got a good night sleep. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. Thank you.

Not what we expected

If you are handicapped or can’t do steps don’t rent this place. Lots of steps and parking lot is around back. Other tenants in building smoking weed so our apartment smelt and we could’ve gotten a contact high. Bathroom/laundry could use a good dusting. Overall beds were comfy but we won’t be returning

The property was ok. If you have poor stamina or poor mobility do not stay here. There are 18 concrete steps that you must navigate to enter the unit. Once in the unit, it is ok with one bed being very comfortable and the other being squeaky and tolerable. If you like to sleep soundly you may want to reconsider too as the unit is located in an older commercial area of town near train tracks with working trains that run at night. There were issues such as no soap in the bathroom shower, no hairdryer and no ice available in the unit. There was a missing television remote for one of the bedrooms that I was unable to locate. I text messaged the host (as directed in the VRBO website) to find out where it might be but did not receive a response. I didnt however receive communication from both VRBO (which is where I found the property) as well as Vacay Away with different contact numbers etc. It was confusing. We did have an issue with the old style combination key lock on the door but did get a response timely and we were able to access the unit with assistance. The water pressure in the shower was great:)

Staying at Waynesboro

We need a place to stay overnight for my kids biking race and this place was perfect. Conveniently located 20 min away. Everything was as described, clean and comfortable. We will be staying again in the future for sure.
