Lovely place in a lovely town! We really enjoyed our stay. Finnebarre's is truly unique and charming; we must have spent 20 minutes just walking around looking at all the pub accoutrements before we even got our luggage out of the car. We spent a lot of time walking around town, shopping at Simons' Antique Store and eating at the local restaurants. Placek Park at the end of Broadway made for great running, too, especially when it winds around and takes you to Lake Wanahoo. All around, highly recommend. We'll miss Wahoo!

Loved it!

As a family of 7, things pop up unexpectedly. We all got sick about a month ago right before we were expected to stay the weekend. The host was more than accommodating with allowing us to reschedule at a discount. It was cozy and super cool to look at. I will definitely stay again!

Great stay in Wahoo

Came into town for the weekend for a wedding and had a great stay, the house was close to everything and suited our needs well.

Excellent Family Gathering Place

Kids and Grandkids live in Weston and Omaha. This Pub place in Wahoo was a perfect gathering and hanging out spot over Easter Weekend. We highly recommend and will use again.

We really appreciate having this little place for our out of town family! Just a couple of blocks from our house makes it very convenient!

Wedding night

We rented it for our son & his new wife on their wedding night. Worked out great. The guys in the wedding party used it earlier in the day to get dressed. Very nice!

College World Series stay

My husband and I have always wanted to attend the College World Series. Staying in Omaha can get very expensive so we looked at Wahoo. The pub is great! We enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the friendly, beautiful, quiet town. The drive to Omaha was gorgeous and easy to do. Thanks for a great place.

Bridesmaid party

This home was magnificent. Decorated like an Irish pub. Filled with lots of curiosities about the home. Very inviting and friendly hosts making sure our stay was everything we could hope for. What a great place for the memories of a young Bride. This is truly a diamond every one could enjoy.

Fantastic Irish Pub and so much fun!

We loved our stay at this Irish Pub in Wahoo. It was exactly as advertised. It is so cute and so much fun looking at all of the wall decorations and enjoying beverages. The owners home brew is great and fun to try. The place is very clean and we will for sure go back. I recommend to anyone looking for a getaway and especially if you are celebrating something and invite friends to stop by for some drinks.

An Irish Pub in Wahoo!!

Most Interesting Rental Ever!

We were the first group to stay here, I believe, and I think the owner was a couple weeks' premature in putting the place on the market. Even though I've got some complaints/concerns, I'm guessing the fixes were already in the works ... we may have just surprised him with how quickly he received a booking and wasn't as prepared as could have been. WE WOULD DEF STAY HERE AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT, SO PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW. The driveway was newer concrete, so we weren't entirely sure where to park, especially because it involved driving over a garden hose? The backyard had construction equipment and an old sink littering the yard. There's a reason there's no exterior pictures - it's not real attractive. Entrance should be the front door, because the back stairs up to and just inside are a little challenging. It was hard to find light switches that went to everything, and most of them didn't have covers. Some minor construction punch-list items remain, such as gaps in floors and a toilet that constantly ran so you always had to check that it flushed entirely. There was a small coffee pot and a bag of coffee for in the morning, but no fixings or mugs. In both the bedrooms and bathroom there was no place to put your things, so luggage racks and open shelves in the bathroom would be a huge plus. Only toward the very end of our stay could we get on the WIFI due to no code being left for us and spotty communication with the owner. Now lots of positives: The beds were HEAVENLY!!! The decor was AMAZING!!! The place was sooooo clean, which is huge for me/my group. Three of the four of us were direct descendants from Ireland, which was such a treat when reading all the signs and books. You really, truly felt like you were in an Irish pub! Lots of toiletries and extras were provided in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. I was able to walk around the neighborhood in the morning and it was just delightful and only a couple blocks away from main street. If you want a cute, interesting, memorable, kitschy place to stay you will not be disappointed and sleep like a babe. I look forward to being able to give five stars after my next stay.
