The Lodge at Eagles Nest is a great place to stay. The hosts are very accommodating, and the place is amazing. Full arcade in the basement, including Pinball and Ping Pong. The pool room was great, and the pool so nice. Watched Deer out the windows as the Snow came down! Kitchen is fully stocked, and the built in Griddle/Flat-Top got tons of use! All bedrooms have a Private Bath, and additional Beds and Baths in the basement. Secluded but not too far from Indian River and Petoskey. We will be staying there again!

Loved our 3rd stay at this beautiful home! The hosts have such a great place! Kids loved the pool. we all loved the exterior from the large lawn for wiffle ball and kickball and other yard games to the kids riding bikes around the sidewalk. Would love to stay again!

We were celebrating New Years and a 40th wedding anniversary. Our family of 18 had more than enough room to safely sleep and play without feeling crowded! The kitchen was well equipped with supplies and the appliances were top notch. We wanted off the beaten path and The Lodge offered us a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy family. The family enjoyed going to Boyne Mountain to ski and the indoor waterpark. Of course making snow angels at the lodge ! The owners were quick to respond, by extremely polite and helpful with a few questions!! If we ever get the opportunity to stay again we would love to enjoy the summer in this little slice of paradise. Thank you.

Great Property for Large Family Gatherings!

Beautiful, peaceful place! Very spacious and clean! We had 5 families, 10 adults, 9 kids. It was a perfect place for hanging out, playing games indoors and outdoors.

this house was perfect for our family. There were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking and dining essentials. The kids, ages 5-18, loved the pool and game room. The house was clean and well maintained. If the opportunity arose we would definitely stay there again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great family gathering space

We had a great time at this location. Everything was wonderful - well equipped kitchen, large gathering spaces, fun in the basement for kids and adults alike, plenty of bedrooms and beds for our group of 15, excellent pool. Very responsive to our questions about the house during our stay. The location is very secluded, a true north woods getaway. Not a true con, but one thing to note: it’s a minimum 15-20 minutes from anything of note (restaurants, grocery stores, lakes, etc.) which we were perfectly happy with. We had an awesome time!

Great family get-together home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our second time staying here! Our large family had plenty of room both indoors and outdoors. The pool was a big hit with the kids. Addition of second refrigerator downstairs was great for overflow! Would stay again!

Had my 30th birthday gathering here over a quick fri-sun weekend. The place is a gem. It’s secluded if you have a rowdy bunch and the house is beautiful. Would love to come back in the summer to see it shine!

Great for large groups

We had a fun weekend with our extended family. The lodge was the perfect place for our “Forced Family Fun” long weekend. Our group consisted of 79 year olds down to 17 years old and everyone had a blast. We loved the secluded location, the basement arcade games, the pool, and the huge dining area where we played games, did puzzles, etc. The lodge was very clean and it was nice that the basics (dish soap, trash bags, etc) were provided. Loved our stay!!!

Outstanding house

This house is spacious and incredible throughout. It was more than enough space for quite a few of us on an annual golf trip. This house is exactly what we were looking for and would stay here again if possible, year after year.

Family Vacation

Plenty of room for a family of 15. Enjoyed the pool and game room. Took advantage of nearby golf courses, Mackinac Island, and casinos. Plenty of outdoor space for games and activities. Enjoyed watching the wildlife. GREAT time was had by the entire family.

Golf group

The Eagles Nest was everything I hoped for! Pool was fantastic and eating space was perfect for my group. Can’t find too many places like this with 25 beds. Kim answered all my questions promptly and I’m planning to rent this next year. All the guys loved it!

Absolutely perfect

This property was perfect for our group of 18 adults, plenty of space and activities to keep everyone entertained all weekend. The pictures don’t do justice, there is so much space in this house. Everything is top notch; fixtures, furniture and fun! Comfortable beds, huge bathrooms. I can’t say enough great things about this house. The host was very responsive and accommodating to all our request. Would rent this place again in the future for large gatherings.

Great getaway!!

It was beautiful from the moment we drove up! Inside was spacious and exactly what we needed for our large group. They had everything we needed there. We brought food and some toys for the littles and that’s about it!! Great game room in the basement everyone loved. Pool was great, a little colder than we are used to, but kids really didn't mind. Nice yard for kids to ride bikes and play outside too. Host was very helpful and responded to all my questions. Easy check in and check out! We felt very at home and enjoyed our time there! We watched the deer and geese all day from the porch and deck. Thanks so much for having such a great space for a large group! We would definitely stay again.

Winter Getaway.

Stayed for 3 days with our family just to get together. We thought about a water park but with all the little ones and naps it’s hard. This house had it all. The kids had fun in the pool, we all enjoyed the game room and the open kitchen and family room was big enough for us all to be together while doing different activities. We saw deer and eagles. A sled would have been good for a walk with the kids so will remember that next time. The upstairs bedrooms stayed 62. The owner is aware and looking into this. The pool is heated to 80 so if you have little ones may want to ask if it could be warmer before you arrive. We all had a great time and would return.

Eagle's Nest Home - AMAZING

Our group consisted of 4 families: Family 1 1 Adult 3 children (ages 4 to 12) Family 2 2 adults 1 child (13) Family 3 3 adults 1 child (16) Family 4 2 adults House has everything a large group would need: large dining room, plenty of space, entertainment for all, and a host that is responsive! Kim was in contact with me from beginning to end, answering all of my questions and making sure our group had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, serving bowls, utensils, cups/glasses, and is HUGE, plenty of space to cook and prepare food without being congested. The bedrooms all had comfortable beds, great linens, clean, and spacious. All attached bathrooms were clean, huge and equipped with towels, soap and shampoo. Wi-fi was good, not blazingly fast speeds tho. One person was able to work remotely when needed. I believe it is satellite which cannot be compared to normal wired internet. Mobile service was not really available (Verizon, ATT). Mobile service was better when we were outside. Also, we were able to make wi-fi calls once we connected to the Wi-Fi. We had some suggestions: map coordinates instead of address to the property add an additional refrigerator (it could be located downstairs) basketball hoop TVs in all bedrooms Things we really enjoyed: A/C worked perfectly, pool is bigger than expected and refreshing, and binoculars to view all the deer that appeared on the property We are planning on booking for next year!

Great Spot!

30 of us came up for a bachelor party. The place was incredible. Everything was clean and updated. The property managers answered any and all questions I had and even recommended a few things for us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking. Thanks for having us!
