Newly Renovated Home in The Heart of Ventnor City

Hi Valerie, I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. We strive to meet all of our guests expectations. If you check our Airbnb reviews, we have a 4.9 rating with over 50 guests hosted over the past 3 years. Additionally, I have maintained Superhost status for that same period. I would like to address some of the grievances you have noted. Yes, the house has been completely renovated, thank you for noticing, but no, all of our furnishings are not from Ikea. Most of our furnishings have come from CB2 or Pottery Barn. Regarding sheets, we do absolutely provide sheets, we discussed this on the phone too. There are fitted sheets on all mattresses and comforters on top. I believe you are referring to the loose fit sheets between the two aforementioned sheets, in this instance, we do not. It is our experience that the two sets of sheets I mentioned are ideal for our guests. I am sorry if this was upsetting. Regarding damage, which I suspect is the root of your frustration (and mine). There are two areas that were left with permanent damage, the back deck and family room sofa. The back deck, I later learned, was damaged by fireworks that were left on the composite material decking and composite material patio table. In both areas, the sparklers you set down, melted the material and caused permanent damage. Regarding the stains on the family room sofa, I had to hire my cleaner to bring in extraction equipment that costs a premium in addition to routine cleaning. I assure you that to replace the damaged deck boards, replace the damaged patio table and to professionally clean the damaged sofa, the charges were in excess of the $1,500 allowable damage waiver. if you have any question about this, please let me know and I will happily share my quotes with you. regardless of this grievance, I truly hope that you had an enjoyable stay and will use VRBO or Airbnb again. both platforms offer a terrific service and I love being a host!
