Such an adorable spot on San Cristobal

We had a wonderful time ar Sonja's adorable place on San Cristobal Island, Galapagos, Equador. It is very convenient to the town and beach / snorkeling.

This place was adorable! The house is covered in amazing murals and paintings. the beds were comfortable and the outdoor area in the back is great! There is only one AC in the downstairs bedroom, but with the windows open upstairs, it was completely comfortable!

Peaceful house minutes away from Playa Mann

This house was a great place to stay for my family of 5. The house is very comfortably furnished, and the outdoor dining is was perfect to keep our craziness and mess outside of the house. The master bedroom has an A/C that made it very comfrotable for my wife and me. However, the other bedrooms with the windows open was comfortable for the kids to get a good night's rest as well. The kitchen is well-appointed with an outstanding range and oven to easily cook meals. The house is minutes away from the popular Playa Mann, but we chose to walk 10 minutes further to the Playa Punta Carola. Also good snorkeling options about 15-20 minutes away at the Muelle Tijeretas. Sonia was an outstanding host and very responsive. Thank you so much, highly recommended!

Happy Honeymoon

The house is private and clean with a heat pump/air conditioning in the main bedroom. The hammock in the backyard and the water filtration system were very appreciated. We were there in February so no issues with temperature. Our Spanish is limited so Sonia's son David picked us up at the airport, arranged tours for us and answered any questions we had. Some notes for future travellers: there is no house address, the ants will find ANY food left out, the sink backs up easily if any food gets into the drain and do not turn on the water filter with wet hands. All of these are more related to the Galapagos than a reflection of the host. We would definitely recommend this location and look forward to returning in the future.

Great bed, very comfortably in master BR.

Sweet neighborhood, easy walking distance to the town. Very helpful neighbor next door. King bed was super comfortable. If you are visiting in the winter cold season, be aware the only hot water is in the shower and it’s not very hot. Too cold to sit at the picnic table outside and no real place to relax and read inside. If you’re a light sleeper and late riser, bring ear plugs as the roosters start crowing at 4:30 and continue off and on until 5:30. I personally love that but I’m an early riser. In the summer months I probably would have loved everything about the place. Oh BTW, she has a water filter for potable water. A real plus.

The property has a bohemian feel to it. The king bed was very comfortable and it' shard to find places with a king bed.The host had the next door neighbor meet us at the airport, which was very nice. It is conveniently located in walking distance of the downtown area. I would not recommend, however during cold season (we were here late October). Too cold to sit outside at the picnic table. No hot water except in the shower and it wasn't very hot. The futons might be comfortable for children, but not for adults. And there is no real comfortable place to sit and read or relax. If you plan to be out most of the time, it's fine. If you're a light sleeper, roosters crow at 4:30 and two of the three nights we were here, dogs barked until about 8 pm.

We enjoyed this small, brightly painted house. The host volunteered to meet us at the airport and introduce us to the house, which was a nice bonus. We would have appreciated brighter lights in the living area for reading at night, and more comfortable seating. The sofa was not great and the lovely little deck off the upstairs bedroom did not have any chairs. The shaded table in the garden was great.

Niedliches Haus mit Garten

Alles ist nett eingerichtet und man kann im Garten sogar in der HĂ€ngematte liegen. Es ist von dort alles gut zu erreichen.

Esta casa es una propiedad muy muy linda. Es tranquila, comoda, segura y cerca del centro de todo. El proceso de entregar fue muy facil gracias a Sonia y ella me ayudo con recomendaciones locales.

Comfy home away from home.

Beautiful home. Super comfy master bed AND pillows. Full kitchen for cooking and with excellent water filter so had all the drinking water we needed. Would have liked a sink stopper to make dish washing easier. 5-10 minutes walk to beaches, restaurants, groceries. Loved the back yard picnic table for meals and hammock for relaxing book time. With front and back doors open with screen doors we always had nice breeze. Much cooler than our friends place in town next to dock. Good AC in master bedroom for sleeping. Best internet on island. Able to do Whatsapp phone calls to family in USA.

La casa es muy bonita, cómoda y acogedora, excelente ubicación, cerca de muchos lugares para visitar, playas, miradores, malecón, bares, restaurantes. Sus propietarias Sonia y Belén muy amables y pendientes de que todo esté bien. Totalmente recomendable
