Good weekend away

Property was as advertised. You can tell they have updated recently. The slider fell off the track the first time we tried to use it. Owner was promt on response but not alot he could do nor expected him to do. Pool wasnt functioning but not the properties fault. Right on beach and easy access to the water. Overall a good stay!

So close to the sand

Everything in the condo is new. It was all VERY clean. I contacted the owner during our stay and got a response right away. The Oceanview is amazing and only steps to the beach. The condo is centrally located and close to many things. Convience store across the street and ice cream. We enjoyed our stay.

Much needed getaway for 2

The condo is beautifully remodeled. The Oceanview from second floor balcony is priceless. We watched the sun rise every morning on the balcony drinking coffee. It took us 2 minutes to get from room to sitting on the beach! The only negative is there is a Roku TV and No WiFi. It is MLB playoffs and college football so in the evening we missed the games. But we agreed we will stay here again in the future. You cannot beat the location! Also when I texted the PM with questions he responded promptly every time. I really appreciated that.

Beautiful inside.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Parking was easy and close, room was beautiful and clean. The room had everything you need, dishwasher, sink, fridge, stove and a comfortable bed and nice shower. It could use a new couch its seen better days. The balcony right on the beach and just a short 2 min walk out to the sand was great for quick bathroom trips in and close to cook lunch. The only thing we could say that needs improvement would be the outside grounds of the hotel/condo. The hotel ground outside the room that are public are not kept up, there is trash, bottles and cans as well as wrappers laying around. The hotel does not clean up and needs attention. I would recommend this room because it was just what we wanted. Hopefully the hotel can hold up their end and do some clean up.

Not what we expected

Explanation of check in was not clear, parking was not good, first night in condo the ceiling started leaking, manager came to look at leak and couldn’t find anything, came back to condo second night and major leak and ceiling pieces falling in shower. Asked by owner to go find another condo and he would reimburse us. Received his portion of refund but not full amount. Told me to call VRBO to get their portion back. Not happy that we had to move out but the area isn’t the greatest either. Shower area coming off beach was disgusting and maintained.

Has potential, but needs some work.

First let me say that the host is excellent. We were considering coming in a day early and he was more than willing to help us out, but it wasn't needed. He was very responsive and highly communicative. Summary: The place was very clean and setup well (minus a couple things I will mention later). The room was very clean. The kitchen and bath are newly updated and they are outstanding. We loved the setup and the quality. The shower with the rain head fixture was a REALLY nice feature as well. Knocked those both out of the park. The bed was super comfortable and clearly brand new. There were a couple issues which did make our stay a challenge. The great thing is that when presented with these, the host didn't make excuses and is making the necessary adjustments. Being an outdoor entrance, you do have the likelihood of people sitting on the stairs outside your room. That did happen to us and we asked them to move on, and they did. We also only had one pillow between the two of us, which is less than ideal and the sofa isn't really a sitting sofa. It is really a kids bed. Additionally, the parking situation there leaves a lot to be desired considering there is a $20/night parking fee. Lastly, keep in mind that this is a 2nd floor room which has external access and overlooks the back patio (leading to the beach). You can hear everything on both sides of the building. This was a problem for us when we had an intoxicated guest making a scene.
