Stay in a classic log cabin with all the modern amenities. It's the perfect lake house for a fun, family vacation or a relaxing, quiet getaway. Bring your fishing pole and bathing suit! If relaxation is what you seek, bring your favorite bottle of wine to sit out on the expansive deck with water views or soak in the clawfoot tub.

The home is located within a private, very well-maintained lake community with two community pools, tennis and basketball courts, and a beach with picnic tables. Guests will have FREE access to all community amenities.

Main Level
As you enter the home on the main floor, you will find an open kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to make wonderful meals. The dining table has seating for up to 8 people with a table extension and extra chairs. The living room is smartly decorated with sliding glass doors that open up to a large deck overlooking the lake. The deck features a gas grill, a bar cart, outdoor lounge chairs, and a brand new large outdoor dining table with seating for eight.

Just down the hall on the main floor are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has two twin beds and the other bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom features a vintage clawfoot tub (with shower).

Top Level
Upstairs is the principal bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom en-suite.

Lower Level
The lower level has a second living area with more comfortable couches, a television, games and a foosball table. There is a 4th bedroom on this level as well with a queen bed. The lower level has sliding doors that open to the lawn and waterfront.

Waterfront & Lawn
There is a nice yard for lawn games or for the kids to play. There is a rustic wooden swing and a great firepit area for roasting marshmallows by the fire. There are stairs down to the dock and waterfront, where you can launch kayaks, floats, or stand up paddleboards - all provided right on the property.

Sleepy Hollow Lake also offers many free things to do for our guests, including the use of two community pools, a lovely beach and picnic area, tennis courts, basketball courts, a golf driving range, playgrounds and more.

The town of Athens is situated on the Hudson River. You may choose to venture out to discover the lovely nearby towns and activities including quaint local shops, great hiking, breweries, vineyards, and distilleries. Hudson, NY is a short drive away, with some of the best restaurants and antique shopping in the Hudson Valley.
