Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Overall it was a good stay. Fort Morgan is a great vacation. The beaches/sunsets are beautiful! This was the second time we’ve stayed at this property. Pros
Beach view and access to the beach were wonderful! The long, concrete driveway is really nice, especially when needing to spray things off. Beach chairs/toys available. Brand new microwave. Enough hot water for long showers. Cons
Many of the dishes and the counter in the kitchen were not clean. The kitchen lacks a lot of things we feel are necessary on a trip like: a cutting board, tongs, etc. Bare minimum kitchen supplies besides dishes to eat on. The dishwasher also appeared to be broken. The panel from the bottom was pulled off and was inside the dishwasher. Not sure if it was operational. Beds are really uncomfortable, especially the master. Firmness level 0. Only 1-2 washcloths per person so either bring some or be prepared (bring detergent) to wash them several times during your stay.I’d rate it around 7/10. The location makes up for what the house lacks. Knowing what I know now, I’d bring some of my own things from home if I decided to stay again.

Good place to stay in Ft Morgan. Had a great view of the Gulf and just down the street from Tacky Jacks. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Decent beach front rental

We loved that the house was right on the beach, but disappointed that there wasn't a deck to sit on and enjoy the view. I also want to note that there are numerous houses that use this beach. It was hard to tell from the listing, but there are several houses behind it that have the same access point. The home was sufficient for our 2 day stay, but lacked a lot of amenities for a long term stay. Limited kitchen supplies and no cleaning supplies provided. The home was clean, but we noticed several broken items in the home. Towel racks need to be replaced in both bathrooms and the couch needs a good scrub. We noticed some trash under the house that needs picked up. Beach chairs a ND gear was provided, but very old, rusty, and in poor condition. We were thankful we had brought our own. Overall, not a bad house. It just needs a little work/updating. Check in and out was super easy.

Guys 3 Day Fishing Trip

This was our 2nd time renting this house great location for all of our fishing needs. We will be looking at it for a spring trip next year. (clean,location,easy check-in and out.)

Perfect location with great views

Ideal location steps from the ocean. Gorgeous ocean views from three sides. This was our first time using Vacasa. Communication was great.

Paying for the View - (A generous 2 stars)

View from the house was great, unfortunately there is no deck to sit on and enjoy the views. First night in the house the ceiling in the guest bedroom began to leak and bubble up, eventually fell in early the next morning. We ended up having to move homes, which was an inconvenience for us because we had to waste several hours of our vacation time contacting Vacasa, finding a new place, then re-packing all our stuff and moving. Not easy to do when you have 4 small children. However, customer service was helplful and found us a new place rather quickly. Unfortunately, it wasn't Ocean view like we had originally paid for, and the A/C on the main floor was not working properly, so we had to contact Vacasa again to get someone out to work on it.

Perfect Location

The good: Surfwatch is a quaint little house with great views and just steps from the beach. The bad: The toilet in the master bath was not working properly, luckily there was a second bathroom we could share. Also, not all of the burners on the stove worked. Lastly, please double check, triple check and ensure that you have all of your belongings before leaving...sadly if you leave anything worth keeping, you will not get it back.

Vacasa sucks

We come to the beach and book a secluded place so as we can relax and enjoy the beach! The floor fell through in the original house surfwatch was right on the beach and we notified Vacasa before 8 am on Wednesday tried calling Chris and no response Vacasa decided it was best to relocate us to a new place off the beach and two story!! My brother is disabled and we had two elderly people with us so enjoying the beach was not an option! We rented a beach buggy and couldn’t even use it!! Plus the neighbors at the Seahorse where we were relocated were rowdy and played loud music all day!! It was not enjoyable at all!

Surf watch Review

The close proximity to the beach was great!! The house needs a total remodel. The air conditioner did not work in the master bedroom and bath, but worked great on the other side of the house. We had to buy linens, the towels and washcloths were terrible! We also had to buy bleach to clean the shower curtains. They were pink and smelled terrible from mildew. The water to the washing machine was turned off. There were roaches and ants. The kitchen was very small and hard for two people to be in there at the same time. I would not recommend.

Nice get away

Place was nice, clean and convenient to the beach. The furniture was dainty and not to my liking, but then I did not go to sit on the couch, I spent most of my time sitting on the beach.

Mother/Daughter Trip

It took 2 calls to have 3 items fixed: broken toilet seat, A/C vent in master bdrm falling from ceiling, hot water handle in master shower came off. Not kitchen towels or hot pads were furnished. Renters s/b advised. Instructions for TV should be written when there are 3 remotes. Generally the house was not in good repair. Cleaners had not noticed a 3XL shirt on the window side of the ocean side bdrm. Paper towel holder in kitchen needs a screw. A small tool kit would have been handy. Of the many beach houses we have rented, this was the last we would choose again.

Not as described

The location and view was nice. But the description of the property was not accurate. Hard to eat outside when there is no deck, no table or chairs. There television also did not work well. Only a couple channels and the internet servers didn’t work. Tried calling and messaging the management company, but they never replied. Called and chatted with VRBO and was told it wasn’t there fault. But that is who I rented from. Very disappointing customer server from both companies. Would not of rented house if I knew the description was not accurate.

Nice little house

Love the slower, quieter vibe of FtMorgan. This house is nicely offset to the back of the property allowing beach view in spite of larger homes being in front of it. Mere steps from the beach. The home appears to have had some fairly recent attention, but inside is a bit dated. Nicely kept and cleaned though. Check in/out was a breeze. No issues. Nice little stay, wouldnt hesitate to use again.

Fantastic - No complaints here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! We had no issues whatsoever checking in. The house was clean. Everything was exactly as described! We were looking for a quiet get away with our teenage kids, and this was perfect. The views were beautiful. It was quiet and not at all crowded. We will definitely be back!
