There's nothing like experiencing a fantastic vacation on the beach with family and friends. Spend a day sightseeing then cool off with a refreshing swim in the shared pool. This condo is on the first floor so you can easily access it, even with an armload of fresh produce! Head inside to cook up a storm in the full kitchen then kick back in the living room to watch your favorite movies and shows on the TV.

Things to Know
Seaside Beach & Racquet is comprised of five buildings situated on the ocean side of Orange Beach. The first digit of the room number identifies the building number. Buildings 1 and 2 are closest to the tennis courts and do not offer a view of the ocean. Building 3 offers a panoramic view of the ocean, while 4 and 5 offer partial or angled views of the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico.

This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Ok for price, needs some work

Pros: first floor condo was a plus, easy to back up to the sliding door for unloading and loading. Walk to the beach/pool was easy. Grills are right outside the sliding door. The provided shampoo and shower soap was nice & smelled clean. Cons: There were ants in the kitchen. The back bedroom with the advertised queen bed (pretty sure it’s a full) is very loud when the AC is on. The beds have two sheets and no blanket or comforter. The microwave only works if you unplug it and press the pizza option
.which either undercooks or overcooks. Both showers are so tiny, if you are over 5’2” you have to bend down to wash your face/head. The bathroom in the hallway shower does not work, it trickles water out while filling the tub through the spout. The rocker with ottoman is severely outdated and gross. The TV instructions are not clear, you have to find the dish remote to watch tv which we didn’t realize until the last day. We could have used a few more towels.

Worst experience ever

After one night of sleeping on a broken bed, a maintenance man came and agreed we needed a new mattress and the frame needed to be repaired however he left and didn’t fix anything and never came back. The kids ended up sleeping on the recliner and floor one night. For the 3rd night after being ignored all day I had to drive all the way to Gulf Shores Walmart to purchase a mattress pad - which I was reimbursed for. However we still had to prop the bed up with couch cushions bc it was falling in. Everything about the condo is just “dingy” messed up tops on the dressers and end tables. The front door has previously been busted in and a crappy job was done repairing it. The whole condo just reeks of the fact that the owners clearly not giving a darn. Also there are no comforters for the beds just a couple of thin sheets so we got cold at night. The only positive to this condo is the fact that it’s on the ground floor so no stairs. However you can hear every single step the people above you make. There is clearly a lot of water damage and crappy “fixing” going on here. There is no wonder my child came healthy and left with a super green runny nose. There is probably a ton of mold in that place. No dish rags in kitchen and no oven mitts to take things out of the oven.

I liked the place where the apartment was located and I liked its pools, the security available to help you and very close to the beach and my children were happy. That was very good

Conveniently located on the beach side with a short walk to the beach. Three pools available on site, close to shopping and resturants.

Not as advertised

The listing stats that the unit is beachfront and that is incorrect. It is a unit in the middle of the parking lot and you cannot even see the beach. The unit is outdated, the entrance is under the stairs and it feels like a cave, the electrical outlet in the master bath does not work, the ice maker does not work. water damage in the small bedroom, sheets and towels were stained. and one twin bed was broken and squeaks when you lay down. I will not rent this unit again. Very disappointed.

Dated and Dirty

We traveled with a family of 5. Before we arrived the Vacasa lady Contacted us to set up someone to come clean the carpets stating they were dirty. We told her that would be fine and continued on our trip. When we arrived we found this to be true. The carpets were FILTHY. Ants all over the counters and kitchen sink. Dirt built up on the base boards, vents were caked with dirt, busted base boards, non working electrical outlets, stains on couch pillows, shower had stains along the bottom, and I’m sure more that I have forgotten some things. Location was not beach front like made out to be in the post. You have another condo obstructing your view. The only good thing I can say is the size was good and the location on the ground floor/corner was great for us. We did call the Vacasa and they were suppose to send someone out for the ants, not sure if they ever did while we were out because they did not get any better. Also carpet cleaners came but the stains looked the same and the carpets stayed went the duration of the trip. We will not be renting this condo again and I would suggest updated and fixes on the above things before the next tenants .
