The Caribe Resort is an amazing destination in and of itself! Situated on a secluded 30-acre peninsula, some of the many amenities you will enjoy at the Caribe include a relaxing 980-foot lazy river, two waterslides including one kiddie waterslide, a BBQ area, putting green, two tennis courts, a bocce ball court, pool pavilion, designated fishing docks, an on-site marina, and restaurant. Additionally, the three towers that comprise Caribe Resort - B, C & D - each offer an indoor pool (heated during winter months), indoor hot tub, sauna, fitness center, and a zero-entry outdoor pool.

Love the Caribe’s amenities pools lazy river etc. This room is nice overall tub was peeling on inside only bad thing. It is a long walk to water front once you get off golf carts for the beach.

Great for girls weekend.

Condo was very clean, beds were comfy and slept everyone comfortably. Ice maker was not working, and the freezer ice container was too small to catch the falling ice... otherwise, great weekend. would stay again.

Family celebration

It was an awesome experience. We were celebrating an 18th birthday as a family. The kids had access to so many options to keep them busy. The resort was very very clean at all times. The Cobalt was absolutely delicious. We will book hete agsin

This condo faces the bay which we actually loved. This is the second year we stayed in this particular condo and we enjoyed watching the dolphins and the boats from the balcony. I was thrilled to discover they replaced the mattress in the guest bedroom. The overall cleanliness was great, but it definitely has some cosmetic issues.The guest bathroom has some water damage, the paint is peeling from the tub, furniture needs to be updated in the guest bedrooms, and a few tiles are broken.Again all cosmetic issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay and came home relaxed.😎

Great condo

This is a great condo and we had a great time. The view is amazing, and I would recommend the location to anyone. The service is nonexistent. My son left his AirPods in the room. We couldn't get back in to get them because The Caribe can't let us in. The service said the cleaners would have to mail them. We have called 3 times and nobody will respond. They still show in the room, but nobody will check and give us a response. If someone could have let us back in the room it would have been solved in 30 seconds. Still no response.

Great vacation spot with amazing views

Anniversary Getaway

The condo was very clean and decorated beautifully. The master bed sheets didn’t fit properly and wouldn’t stay on the bed. Overall the condo was very comfortable and the view is spectacular. The front desk workers were very nice and professional however, I can’t say that about the security guards. There was a female security guard that was very rude and unprofessional. We had friends and family staying at a different place that came to visit us. I notified the security guards to let them know. They were rude not letting our friends enter. We had to go down to the ground floor even after we already told them we were expecting visitors within 10 minutes we had to do it all over again. It was a big hassle to have friends come and visit. We loved the condo and it would be a perfect place except the trouble having visitors.

Beautiful Bay View

We enjoyed the balcony. Gorgeous view. The beds were a bit firm and the bathrooms could use an update, but overall great condo.

Caribe is beautiful but they need to replace the mattress!

The unit was very nice but the mattress in the master bedroom is terrible! We called and asked for it to be replaced. Vacasa came and put a piece of plywood under the mattress but it did not help! Our backs were killing us by the time the week was over. Please replace the mattress! It’s very old and sunken way too much on both sides. We sent you pictures!

VACASA - Terrible customer service

The condo itself is fine, it was clean and has a beautiful view. None of the beds have decent mattresses, so hopefully they’ll consider replacing soon. If you choose to rent this unit, be forewarned this condo is owned by a company (VACASA) and pray you don’t need anything from the local office. There was an issue I attempted to resolve prior to our arrival. I was supposed to be called by the local office on 5/30 and was never called. We arrived to the condo for check in on 6/5 and the issue was still not resolved. We spent an hour and a half on the phone with an overseas VACASA customer service rep who could only offer to “put in a ticket” to the local office. It is now 6 days later & I am home from my trip and the local office has still not returned my call. Thankfully we finally found a Caribe receptionist who was willing to assist us with our issues. Also, if you have more than 4 people in your party who drink coffee, bring your own cups, because there are only 4 coffee mugs. Oh, and one of the master bath sinks was stopped up the entire time
. I probably could have called someone while I was there, but after my first experience with customer service, I didn’t want to spend any more of my vacation “submitting tickets”. Bottom line - the condo is fine if you don’t need anything while you’re there.

Disappointed

When we got to the condo, we found 4 floor blowers and a dehumidifier running in the master bath. After an hour of trying to contact someone to find out what was going on, we finally got through and was told the previous renter had the ice machine flood into the bathroom and we would need to let these run all week to remove the moisture. Maintenance showed up every morning to check them and after tripping over these and dealing with them, they were removed after 5 days. The kids bathroom toilet was clogged (and nasty) when we arrived and maintenance said they would come back and work on it and never did. My kids used the other bathroom the whole week. The same evening we checked in, we called Vacasa again to request extra bedding. They only provide a scratchy lightweight duvet cover for each bed and a small hospital-like blanket (which we found hidden under the bed and had to wash before using). They said they would send more bedding the next day and they never did. The bedding and pillows at this condo are beyond pathetic. We have vacationed in OB/GS for 7 years now and have rented much cheaper condos directly on the beach with much better cleanliness, maintenance, and bedding. Very disappointed in this condo and our experience with Vacasa. The Caribe itself is amazing with plenty of great amenities for the whole family, I would just NEVER rent a Vacasa property again.

DISGUSTING CONDO - DO NOT STAY HERE

If you like to spend nearly $3,000 to stay in a condo that has not been well maintained or cleaned, deal with poor management and simply waste money - stay here! 1. Air filter looks to have never been changed ever! Completely matted with dust and debris. 2. Stained sheets/dirty sheets and sleeping on mattresses due to no fitted sheets being provided on the bed. 3. A/C not properly working, temperatures got over 80 degrees in condo and we were unable to comfortably sleep or enjoy our stay three nights of our five night stay. Air vents leaking water in every room. 4. Missing cabinetry, broken/torn furniture. 5. Lack of reasonable amount of towels for the household and dirty linens. I could go on and on. Do not book through VACASA! Owners, I suggest getting new Management who is able to properly maintain and manage the condo. If you’d like photos of our experience we will happily provide upon request and inform you of how management dealt with the issue. -Extremely dissatisfied customer

Beautiful condo but wasn't cleaned well

The condo was beautiful, but it was not cleaned well before our stay. The kitchen cabinet doors had splatter of something all over them, beer can left on the balcony, previous occupants thong in the washer. The sheets on the master bed are rough and the fitted sheet did not fit the bed so it kept coming off and it was put on inside out. The extra blankets were in a wad in the closet floor so we couldn't tell if they had been cleaned. There was a panty sanitation liner left in the bathroom drawer. Definitely was not cleaned thoroughly. The table on the balcony is terrible, can't use it for drinks, they will tip over. The condo and resort is beautiful but needed cleaning for sure. One of the main slides was closed our entire stay and no employee could give us a reason. We had a couple encounters with staff that seemed like they hated the guests. Otherwise, we did enjoy our time.

Great condo

It’s a great condo- beautiful view. Furniture is comfortable. Only complaint is the television in the living room didn’t work- something about an Ethernet cord problem. I tried to contact the property manager multiple times. Never got a call back and they never came by nor fixed it. Although being without TV is probably more mentally healthy at the beach regardless- a call back would have been nice.
