Situated just a mile and a half away, this retreat grants you easy access to the vibrant lakeside town of Kings Beach, where you can bask in the sun and enjoy the soft sands and inviting waters of the beach. While the kids frolic by the shore, treat yourself to a delectable meal at Jason's Beachside Grill or savor something sweet at the Java Hut. If you're visiting during the winter months, hop in your car and embark on an exciting journey to the slopes! Just seven miles to the west, Northstar California Resort beckons with its thrilling snowboarding and skiing opportunities catering to all skill levels.

Please note that the seasonal pool and spa are unavailable from September 2nd to May 25th.

Family Get Together

Tahoe Weekend Away

My friends and I had a great time here! It’s closely located to the beach and the main part of town! The owners are extremely nice and very quick to respond to anything you need. I was also very impressed by how clean everything was. Would recommend staying here!

Easy Stay

This is a new rental property and there are some kinks to be worked out but overall the experience was just what we needed. Lots of rooms for family, easy kitchen to use, easy access to skiing. The owners communication with us was outstanding!

Family lake vacation

Nice neighborhood with shared pool just over one mile from Kings beach. A small creek flows right through the back of the property.

Conveniently located for our event

Our stay was good, located just a mile from the event center. Check in was easy and so was checking out. Only thing I wish is that we had some fans when it was warm in the day. Our event was great we’d come back again.

Great winter cabin

Location of the cabin was awesome. Easy drive to both North Star and to the beach. Check in process was smooth and they were very accommodating. One down side is that the kitchenware wasn’t the best. Knifes were dull and the food stuck to all the pans no matter how much oil/butter we used. Besides that, it was a lovely vacations house and location!

Very good winter vacation!

We had two families staying here over the New Years break. Four adults and 5 kids... Plenty of room for everyone. Younger kids had the loft to themselves and loved it. Older kids shared the bedroom downstairs. And adults had two other bedrooms - everyone was happy. The location is excellent - close to skiing and sledding. And the hosts were very nice ))

Great location 5 min to Kingsbeach

Overall was excellent. Communicated well when needed for questions. Only part that disappointed for our family was having 2 dishwasher tablets and washer for our 5 day stay so had to either wash dishes by hand or buy additional products when we asked management. We would stay here again in a heart beat as it is great location and friendly manager! There was even a bear that passed right through the vacation rentals

No frills with plenty of sleeping space

Straight forward and no issues with the property. Clean and comfortable. I wouldn't describe it as "new" in regards to the decor, but we used it as a launching pad for skiing and didn't need anything more than basic meals and sleeping. For that, it was perfect.

Quick tahoe getaway

Overall stay was pleasant. Size of condo is good to accommodate large groups. Hosts were very nice and quick to respond. Bathrooms were clean. Beds were not very comfortable. Couch needs replacing. Surfaces are but wood paneling has dust lots of cobwebs

Cabin cozy Feel

First of all our hosts were amazing, kept in touch with us to make sure our travel was safe. The condo resembled a cozy cabin. Groceries and restaurants were just down the road. The kitchen and living room area was great! My family enjoyed playing games and having meals by the fireplace as we watched the snow fall outside. We were 2 couples, grandma, and 3 kids. There was plenty of space for all of us. My kids really enjoyed the loft! I could go on but overall best stay.

Cosy Condo

We were comfortable during our stay. Check in and out was smooth and straightforward. The condo was clean and well-maintained. Three things I will mention to be helpful to others staying here: the common area is fine, but not particularly spacious. The 4th bedroom is an open loft above the common area, so the person sleeping there should be he who goes to bed last and gets up first. Finally, if you have kitchen items that you know you will need (egg pan / foil / cellophane / breadknife / spatula turner / spices etc.) I would suggest you bring them with you or plan on a visit to the local store.

Great location and great setup for 2 families.

We (2 couples and their 5 kids, age 2 to 15) really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo could use a little update, but is a great value, considering excellent location, great setup, and very clean. It's 15 min or less drive from Northstar, going against traffic, and is close proximity to rentals, stores (Safeway) and restaurants in King's Beach (<15 min), and even Incline village (<30 min), also close to Truckee (30 min or less). One family used the 2 bedrooms and 1 bath downstairs (king and 2 twin beds), the other family used upstairs bedroom/ba/loft. We had plenty of space to accomodate us, and a nice dining table where we could all eat together. The kitchen was well stocked. The only suggestion would be to leave more soaps and shampoos - there was no soap downstairs and no shampoo/conditioner. Also would be nice to have a humidifier, as it gets very dry there, but we always bring our own. The checkin and communication with owners was great, we didn't have any issues during our stay.

We have owned a condominium in Kingswood Village since 1984. We purchased the condo as our younger son was a racer on Squaw Valley Ski Team and skiing was our family activity. We have loved having the Kingswood Village condo and are glad to share it with you. The summer and winters are both great times to come.
