The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this 1 Br with private Den beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water and with an outdoor dining area, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Pretty views and nice amenities

This condo was nice and the building amenities were great. It has both a great view of the sunrise and you can see the sunset. The pools were refreshing and being right on the beach was great. The floors in the unit itself were slightly dirty when we arrived, but after vacuuming it was fine.

Home away from home

Beautiful condo. It has everything you would need. Very clean, great location! Only complaint is we couldent connect to wifi. Couple blinds broken and on the floor when we arrived. But not an issue. We would definitely come back and recommend it. There are beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent right when you get on the beach from the condo so no need to bring if you don’t have any. Bed felt more like a full size than a queen.

Beautiful views!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was beautiful, and felt like home away from home. The room was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need- plenty of plates/silverware/cookware. Beds were comfortable, and the view from the master bedroom is incredible! We watched many amazing sunrises right from bed each morning. Aside from the room- Golden Sands itself has some quirks. The restaurant/bar on the deck is supposed to be open till 10, but one night closed by 8:30
 and you’re unable to order food after 8, no frozen drinks after 9. However, Wednesday night on the deck with Sky Brady (kids night) was SO much fun, and definitely recommend for families with kids of all ages! also, be mindful if you’re staying during peak season, on the morning of our departure there were NO carts available to take our luggage down. Seems like everyone grabbed them the night before?? Again, this is NOT a negative of the room, but negatives we found with Golden Sands itself that you should just keep in mind. Overall, we had.a great trip and would stay here again. We had several members of our family staying through out the week in different condos at the Golden Sands & each of them wished they were staying in our room! We found several restaurants in the area that have playgrounds on the premises, and it made for easy meals for us parents & fun for the kids! Recommended Ropewalk and Tailchasers.

The unit was so beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Vacasa was very easy to deal with and available with reporting my concerns. They would have easily gotten 5 stars. However, I’m pushing it to give 3 stars because we couldn’t sit on the balcony. Someone was smoking non stop, and it was horrible. I reported it twice, but whoever it was, didn’t stop. I have bad allergies and spent my first night sick in bed. Hopefully this this can be fixed in case it happens again in a non smoking building.
