Family friendly but outdated

Pros: the pools are fun for the kids, the staff is easy to communicate with and responsive, the property has a lot of amenities. Beds were comfortable. Cons: the property is outdated, and the room was very dirty, carpet filthy, walls and couches had stains, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close.

Fun Place

Fun property, great room. Loved that the bedroom was separate. Pools were awesome! It is great that there were adult-only areas. Only drawback is the parking. There is no parking close to our room and it was quite a hike to bring our gear in the heat. Otherwise, good experience.

Great vacation

Great experience from check in to check out. My wife enjoyed her massage and I enjoyed the access to golfing and hiking . The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were very well maintained.

Very nice comfortable atmosphere at this property, and has a resort feel to it!

My experience was short and sweet, although you could tell the room was not thoroughly cleaned with tlc.....

Check in wasn’t available til after 7:30pm

Got to the hotel to check in at 4. With two kids in tow, after traveling all day. Rooms were not ready, no big deal. We waited, we waited and we waited. I checked in multiple times with the hotel and the owner of the property. Finally after 7pm I had to go get another hotel, (double the cost because it was last minute) my kids were cranky and we were all exhausted. At 7:36 pm we got a text that our room was ready. I reached out to the company for a full refund and their response was that they would give me the resort fees back. I think this is entirely unfair and I will never be using this company again. They were very insensitive to the situation and how it affected us. Mind you we only had the room booked for one night.

I stayed with my family of 5 for only one night and it had anything we wanted. Clean room with enough space. Easy parking, great pool and close proximity to amenities. I would stay again

Just like booking through the hotel, but BETTER

This stay was AMAZING!! We got all the works of staying at the hotel, but paid VRBO pricing!! The room was large, clean, and had all the amenities. The pool was such a fun atmosphere. The host was great at responding, in a timely manner! I highly recommend them!

Disappointed

Upon arrival we were concerned about the surrounding areas. The place in itself seems safe, but anywhere around there is very sketchy. You have to travel decently far to get to stores/restaurants to feel like you are in a safe place. The room at a quick glance looks clean but the doors were disguising, haven’t been cleaned in a long time, along with deep cleaning. The bedding was not comfortable, very stiff an crunchy. The biggest thing I would say is that the place is big. you really have no idea what room you are staying in until arrival and that is a big deal as you don’t know where you are in relation to pools, lobby, restaurants
 etc. And they say you can call for a golf cart ride, however you can’t if your room phone doesn’t work. The TV’s are old an you wont get Netflix, Hulu etc. The Wi-Fi is spotty, but that seems to be about everywhere around mountains so not their fault. Overall, I would suggest spending a little more for a better resort. If you are wanting to experience downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale, be prepared for a 20/25 min drive or Uber and to go through some sketchy areas.

This property really, really needs a "facelift" but the most disappointing part was the very poor internet service - it was fundamentally useless.

Not a Queen bed - beautiful resort

The resort is beautiful. It was great that there were so many pool and restaurant options. My only complaints were the beds were listed as Queen beds; they were definitely not queens (probably a Full). Also, we chose a Deluxe room to have a balcony. The rail was tall and the chairs were short. So unless you stood the whole time you were not given a balcony view. I would stay here again - I would probably need a bigger room though (due to the bed sizes) and ask for a differently balcony.

Spring Break

Beautiful property! The room was perfect! Things to know
it is very hilly when walking anywhere. They do offer shuttles though which were great! The main pool gets very busy so get there early to get a chair! Takes a while to get food at the main pool when busy. Probably due to the time of year. We were surprised that the front desk and pool staff weren’t very friendly. They seemed bothered everywhere we went. Not welcoming or happy to help. We did have a very pleasant pool waiter the last day we were there and a couple of great shuttle and golf cart employees. Thanks so much!

Steep hills but great shuttle

The main pool area was on other side of complex but easy quick shuttle took you straight there. Small pool steps away from our room I assumed to be part of bungalow rental but it was open to us steps away.

Spring break

It was a good experience, parking at the property was a little difficult. Seems like the hotel was a little bit short handed for help. Restaurant food was priced like a fancy restaurant but is just regular food which was fine. Seemed to take a while but employees were friendly.
