The view from the room was great, the room was not properly clean when we arrived. The door was open as well and the bed was super dirty. I was very disappointed with the cleaning and the service they give us. For the price, we paid we excepted a clean room and better services.

Great stay!

We recently stayed a week and had a great vacation. The unit was very clean when we arrived. The towels and sheets were clean and soft. The Murphy bed was very comfy, and the king size bed was ok- could use a mattress pad and some more pillows for extra comfort to lounge around. Our check in instructions arrived on time and we had no issues getting into our unit. Any question or issue was answered within minutes. The unit was renovated recently and had nice upgrades. I love that the whole unit is tiled- made it very easy to keep it clean during our week long stay. The resort has a nice pool with a bar area, Italian ice cream stand and is very easy to get to the beach especially with kids. The elevators do get a little packed and delayed especially on weekends but that's expected with check ins and checkouts.

HOT WATER

THERE WAS NO HOT WATER TO SHOWER WITH IN THE MORNING. THEREFORE I HAD TO SWITCH ALL MY ACTIVITES TO THE AFTERNOON SO I COULD HAVE A HOT SHOWER BEFORE I WENT OUT.

Not the best vacation

When we got to the unit we noticed the A/C had not been turned on. We turned both units on and from the first moment only one unit worked. It took them over 24 hours to get anyone to come look at it and the unit then had to be completely replaced. Needless to say I was had to spend the first 3 days only utilizing the bedroom. Next time make sure the A/C is properly working before people get there on vacation. They never responded to us when we tried to get some form of discount due to a subpar stay.

You get

Beautiful view and access to the beach. The Caravell property itself is outdated and dirty and you can’t use their beverage service as it’s only good for the people staying with the property itself, elevators take forever and are always busy. The unit- needs a new mattress (could feel the springs), definitely a mattress protector, we did have to get new bed linens after the first night, ours had sand in them :/ ) needs to have white towels (the ones in the unit were grey-smelled of mildew and smoke-did not feel clean). Bring your own coffee filters
we purchased some ($1.99!! Big spenders) and left them at the unit. We don’t have that kind of coffee maker, so we didn’t need 100plus (would’ve been nice touch have them provided.) Overall would give a 2.5 star. We’ll be going to North Myrtle for our next visit!

Not what we expected...

This unit is within a resort which is not in the best part of town but that is not fault of the owners. The unit has been beautifully updated although it can be deceiving. Once we arrived we noticed that the door to the unit didn't seal completely when shut which made the unit smell musty and the blinds didn't close completely meaning that people walking by could see into the bedroom. Two of the burners on the stove didn't work and it was missing a knob. Comforter had a rip and small stain on it. Worst of all, after walking around barefoot for 5 minutes my feet were completely black. We ended up booking another property and leaving the next day. Very disappointed in our stay....

Currently, my husband and I own a high-rise condo in Raleigh, NC. When we started looking for investment properties, we considered Myrtle Beach and found affordable oceanfront properties combined with fun amenities like pools, hot tubs, and perfect views of the Atlantic Ocean. We love Myrtle Beach because the palm trees in the pool area give a tropical feel, without going too far from home. We have one little girl and our condo is our other pride and joy. I am excited to help you have a perfect vacation and hope our condo can accommodate your needs. I want your experience to be perfect and would love constructive feedback to make your vacation even more enjoyable. My husband provides our website and advertising for our family business and I supply all the comforts of home. Our time is spent planning our next real estate purchase, building websites for clients, working out, playing with our daughter, reading, and cooking new recipes. When we get a few days to ourselves, we head down to Myrtle Beach to relax and enjoy.
