The VIDANTA Grand Mayan resort is a first-class hotel and has been listed as among the 25 top luxury resorts in Mexico.
This is an exclusive timeshare resort and only members can book rooms at the resort from November to May. I will need to check availability for each request received.
There is marble and tile throughout the suite, a private jacuzzi tub in each bedroom, a splash pool on the patio and the resort has the largest swimming pools in Mexico. The beaches are wide and sandy, and there are a variety of activities scheduled throughout the week at the main pool. Rent also includes twice-daily maid service and hotel amenities. Transportation from the airport can be arranged through the concierge desk.
The suite also comes with a large living room, a well-equipped kitchen with fridge, cooktop, and small appliances. Each bedroom has a king-size bed plus a single sofa bed. The living room also includes one more single sleeper sofa bed (sometimes two!).
Restaurants on the resort feature first-class dining and are comparable to any others in nearby Playa del Carmen. There are many eateries to choose from and a small grocery store in the boutique for those late-night cravings.
The Grand Mayan hotel is located in the Riviera Maya on the Caribbean Sea, just 35 mins. from the Cancun International Airport, a 45 min. ride to/from downtown Cancun, and 25 minutes from Playa del Carmen and the ferry to Cozumel. The resort offers a shuttle service to Playa Del Carmen with scheduled drop-off and pick-up locations and times. The Vidanta campus, where the Grand Mayan is located, is also home to the Cirque du Soleil show in Mexico. This extensive mega-resort compound has many pools including an interactive, interconnected swimming pool, which covers an overall 8000-square-meter water surface, making it one of the biggest in Latin America. The new water park, Jungala, is now open and features a 3-mile lazy river among other family-friendly attractions (fees apply). There are also luxurious spas and fully equipped gyms on-site.
The resort also has a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course; we have excellent discounts such as 2 for 1 Greens fees, free gym and spa access and much more. Appointments for the services can be arranged by the on-site concierge in each guest building. (fees may apply based on service)
