Modern Farmhouse Apartment in Town /Dog Friendly

We are a family of four, my husband and I plus our 11 year old son and our golden retriever Odin. Originally city folks from the east coast, we moved out west when our son was young in order to give him the chance to grow up enjoying the outdoors. We first visited Whitefish 7 years ago on a Summer trip to visit our friends. Planning to only stay one month, we ended up staying 4 months. After years of spending our summers here we decided to renovate a house in town and live here full time. We fell in love with not just the beauty and outdoor activities like hiking , skiing and boating but also with the small town friendly atmosphere.

This property has definitely been a dream come to fruition. This is an apartment above a sound proof garage behind our house. We will not be coming into your space and do not use the garage for parking. You even have a privacy fence to separate the two houses. There is lots of space between the two houses. Together my husband and I have created a great place for a single person, couple or small family to come enjoy everything Whitefish has to offer while still living with the comforts of home. I wanted the space to feel modern, clean but cozy. You can enjoy the town without having to rent a car if that's your plan only .4 miles to center . You are close to the center of town, Whitefish lake, river, ski mountain, Whitefish hiking trails, golf course, cross country skiing and about a half hour to Glacier National Park. The kitchen is fully equipped for a long stay. You have your own wifi internet if you need to work from home. A king bed and two flat screen TVs, extra twin mattress available . You have your own spacious 6 by 20 ft patio that comes off the living room through sliding doors. You also have a brand new gas fireplace to make sure you stay warm and cozy on cold MT nights. Down stairs you have space to store your ski equipment in the garage and a washer and dryer at your disposal.
