Charming Lakehouse /w boat dock and heated pool

Retreat with everything you need. Fully furnished and tastefully designed 3 bedroom home on a quiet 2 acre private property, with a short 5 min walk to a shared boat dock. Boat dock is shared between our two properties only.

Home has all the conveniences you can think of to make a perfect getaway. You can sit around the campfire in the evening or just enjoy wildlife site seeing. Rent a boat and explore Lake Lanier or relax by the fire pit or pool.

Great for families and those looking to get away to recharge.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location. Very clean house beds were not very comfortable but other than that no complaints. We would definitely stay again.

The hosts were great! Checked to make sure everything was great. Always responsive. Pet friendly there was even food and water bowls for pets. Beautiful property we loved our stay!

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful vrbo for our wedding weekend! It was the perfect place to peacefully relax after all the festivities. We enjoyed the walk down to the lake to enjoy our morning coffee, swam in the pool, had dinner on the patio dining table and made a cozy fire in the evening! The house was secluded and it was a nice romantic getaway! If we are ever back in the area for another long weekend, we will absolutely stay here again.

It was a very nice house and with it being next to the lake was remote, which made the whole thing feel like it was just ours. I also grew up very close to here so it was nice to feel like I was back home

Great Weekend

We were in the area for a wedding and the place was wonderful to entertain until then. Lake was great for the dogs and the pool was great for the humans. Very well stocked kitchen for a rental too! Owners couldn’t have been nicer to deal with.

Great house!

We had a wonderful stay. Kids loved the pool and the bunk beds! Plenty of supplies for our group of 7 ladies. If we venture back to Georgia, we would definitely stay here again. Houses nearby, but you wouldn't know it. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the walk to the water.

What a wonderful place

The property was clean with updated fixtures throughout. It was roomy and comfortable. The mattresses were comfortable and there was a nice outdoor space. We will definitely book again!

We enjoyed our stay and the house is cute. There are some nice features like an adorable kids’ room, makeup towels, and a sauna
the sauna was divine! Walking distance to the lake and close to Downtown Gainesville. The hosts were very responsive and they even had a xmas tree and lights up for the holidays. I would definitely describe the style as “rustic” with some modern upgrades.In terms of cleanliness, the house could use a deep cleaning. I did not enjoy the clogged drain in the upstairs shower (the hosts sent drain cleaner for us to use which was helpful but we didn’t really have time to complete maintenance duties) and the downstairs shower had a bunch of hairs all over which were 100% not ours. The walls and baseboards are pretty dirty overall. And we did encounter a few bugs
but maybe that’s normal for a lake house? The freezer and fridge need a thorough cleaning. I say all this not to insult the house/hosts but to let others get a feel for the rental. Lastly, some informational items: there is no disposal so if it’s a long-term stay do expect to constantly clean food out of the kitchen sink; there are only sheer curtains in the downstairs bedroom but it’s pretty shady and private (but not a blackout situation); and we could have used more hangers.

Not only did our kiddo have fun as well as us.. But the dogs had a blast as well! We will be back for sure! Highly recommend this place! Also, Alex and Julie are quick to answer any of your questions! They also thought of EVERYTHING.. If you forgot something don’t worry I’m sure it will be there! Make sure to take a stroll down to the lake, you won't regret!

We were just there during the nights to sleep because we were gone racing during the day. 20 minutes from Road Atlanta. The beds are very comfortable. Very clean. I did like waking up and looking out the back door down the hill.

Terrific Lake House!

What a Great Lake House! The house is very comfortable and well stocked. We utilized the dock as we brought our boat with us and there are many convenient launch areas around the house
as well as great places to eat on Lake Lanier. The pool area is a great place to relax with friends and family. We highly recommend this house for your next vacation on Lake Lanier!

Booked this for some down time and to be close to/attend a service at Free Chapel in Gainsville. The house, hosts (owners), and area were all wonderful. The walk down to the water/dock was worth the trip back up the hill!

We are a family and happy parents of two wonderful girls (5y + 1y) and three very well behaved and goofy rescue hounds. We love traveling, entertaining guests and very passionate about healthy lifestyle. Recently we fell in love with life at the lake and would like to share this great experience with others.
We are new to being VRBO hosts and are constantly working on improving our charming house between guest stays and busy life with toddler and newborn baby - one step at a time (because we are human, although having superpowers would be very cool), but always trying to move forward, always passionate about what we do, and always working hard to earn your smiles and great feedback after each stay.

Unfortunately in the world of VRBO, a 5-star rating means 'Good', but a 4-star rating means 'Bad'. Please let us have a chance to resolve any problem, concern or issue before you provide us with feedback. We are always available to help!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

You will have full access to the three bedroom home with electronic keyless code to access. Unfinished basement is not accessible at this time;
Garage is locked off for owners storage (there are certain things we just can’t store in the basement). Parking is in front of the driveway. There is a private dining patio and back deck with swimming pool; as well as a separate fire pit area.
House is located on a quiet 2.5 acre property, there is only one neighbor that might be visible from afar distance through the greenery by the pool side, but we will be working on blocking off that small gap with continued fence very shortly. Other than that property is very private. Our home is perfect for families and those looking to get away to recharge.
