Chill Beachfront Hideout

My stay at this beachside property was an absolute dream. The property was impeccably clean, and the host was incredibly responsive to any inquiries. The breathtaking ocean views made for a truly relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a rejuvenating getaway right on the beach.

A Perfect Family Retreat with Endless Delights!

Our recent stay at this remarkable property, nestled at the heart of coastal beauty, was nothing short of enchanting. As a large family seeking an ideal vacation getaway, this home exceeded our expectations in every way, providing a haven of comfort and joy for all generations. The private beach access was a game-changer, convenience of strolling from our doorstep to the pristine sands made beach days seamless and stress-free, especially with little ones in tow. This spot had a very well deigned layout, with ample living areas for everyone to gather and enjoy evenings at leisure. The property management's attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident throughout our stay. From seamless check-in procedures to responsive communication, they ensured that our needs were met promptly and professionally, enhancing the overall experience. Our family enjoyed our stay a lot and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of a perfect family getaway by the sea.

Nirvana - Beautiful location

We had 10 visiting from all over. The home is literally feet from the beach, super-close. House was mostly “clean, quite worn and needing some TLC. A good wash inside and out, inside paint, new floors, and updated kitchen equipment could help this property score higher in our review. Living room was small to accommodate 10 comfortably. All-in-all, we had a great visit together, quiet, and without worry as we made it the best possible. PS, the elevator was a hassle as it wasn’t dependable. We would rent from Better Beach but rentals again. Thank you.

The property overall was very nice. There were some discrepancies / misleading information in the listing. For example, the listing said 4 king beds and there were actually only 3. It said 2 dbl sofas in common area, however, they were set up in an "L" formation and couldn't both be used. The listing said ice maker. We've rented at the beach for this same group for 10 years and all the houses for this many people had an actual stand-alone ice maker to keep up. The ice maker was in the fridge door and didn't have a chance at keeping up. We had to make ice runs every day. We arrived on a Saturday and the pool was literally full of gnats / fruit flies/ no-see-ums - actually black puddles of them on the bottom and a layer floating on top. The bugs at the beach are expected - I get that. I called right away and left a message, no reply. I called and spoke to someone on Sunday and no one came out. On Monday no one at the rental company answered the phone in the hour I called repeatedly, so I had to drive down there to get help with the pool. They sent someone out and turns out there were so many bugs the filter was plugged and the pool was getting no circulation. I have a pool at home and some familiarity with their workings. They said the pool was cleaned on the Saturday we arrived - no way. After it was cleaned Monday we had the bugs for 2 more days before the wind shifted and the filter kept up fine.

What a let down!

View was beautiful and check in was easy, however we were extremely disappointed over the following: Floors were filthy, our feet were dirty from walking on them, had to wear shoes to keep feet clean. The bed linens were thin and worn, had to make our own beds. Very little cookwear, what was available was in poor condition, waffle iron did not work. Dishwasher had stagnent water in it when we opened it, no dishes were in it so it had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. We got it to drain and we cleaned it. Elevator never worked, I communicated with 2 people thru text and email. It seemed once I explained that I had had knee surgery and really needed to use the elevator, they quit responding. The back door was not sealed so it rained water came in. There was a wooden shim in hinges of bottom door. Needs to be fixed properly. Hot tub dirty upon arrival unable to use for over days. No wash off station for beach use. Thermostat would not go below 75, must have it locked and set. Main level was extremely warm. We will not be renting thru BEACH RENTALS as they are a fail and thru VRBO for listing this property. Zero stars. L. Cash and Family
