Great host and property. Comfortable, spacious and less than five minutes from Searchmont resort. The new hot tub is the perfect apre ski. Beautiful view and fits four people very comfortably (up to six cozily).

Searchmont Stay

This was a great place to stay for a ski trip to Searchmont. It had plenty of room for our group of 6 and was very convenient to the resort. It was our second stay and we'll be back again.

Great cabin near Searchmont

A group of us rented this clean cabin and went skiing at Searchmont ski resort. Our second time staying here. We love the cabin and the location. Plan to stay here next year.

Awesome Time. Great house.

Owners were great to work with and very responsive. House was perfect for our large family and so close to skiing at Searchmont. Kids can’t wait to visit again.

Great Basecamp for Searchmont

This was a great spot for our Searchmont trip. Our group of 6 had plenty of space and the resort was just a short drive away. The setting was quiet and beautiful. We'll be back!

Beautiful surroundings and cozy home!

We never tired of our drive to/from Searchmont - beautiful surroundings and obviously, extremely close to the resort. THe house is off of a quiet road, beautiful grounds to explore, cozy home with beautiful views everywhere and the property owner was ever so kind. We will FOR SURE be back!

top skiing weekend

arriving the night before a major snowstorm is highly recommended. skiing was top and the owner got the driveway cleared of snow. The cottage is just perfect lots is space well equipped just great.

Great stay near Searchmont

Our two ski families had a great stay near Searchmont. Everything was clean and tidy, with lots of space. Our hosts were extremely easy to reach and always making sure we were comfortable. One bedroom was in a living space (no door) which didn't cause us an issue, however worth noting for others.

Dad & Son Ski Trip

Good trip!

Well suited for our family with college age kids. Had the best stocked kitchen we've ever had at a VRBO. Loved the soaker tub. The only thing we would have changed was an added comfortable chair or loveseat in the family room, our family of six adults was a little tight to fit on the sectional. We used a dining room chair which wasn't very comfy for movie watching in the evenings.

Perfect Nature Retreat

Exactly what we were looking for: plenty of space, beautiful views, and quiet nature. Modern home amenities. We hiked in locales around the rental so it was perfect for us.

Beautiful Spacious House

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This is a year round vacation property. There are 19 acres in the back yard and the Goulais River is a 3 minute walk over the boardwalk we recently installed. You have your own private beach to enjoy. Plenty of sunshine. Bring your floaties, kayaks, canoes and enjoy riding the softly flowing Goulais River. You can even paddle right up to the Whitman Dam Falls.
Plenty of trails whether it's for ATV riding or snowmobiling.
Fish anywhere along the River or the many small lakes in the area.
And of course, you have Searchmont Ski Resort less than 5 minutes away.
Great home for families to gather!
