Wake up with a sense of adventure or relaxation in this cozy and spacious home. This cabin is on a 1/3 acre in the highly sought after Montgomery Estates, 5 minutes to the lake, and 10 minutes to the Heavenly Village and Casinos. The backyard is on a slight slope with views of towering pines trees and a glimpse of the surrounding mountains. Relax in the living room with knotty alder wood ceilings, and a large picture window. Sit on the electric reclining leather sofas and cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace. Entertain outdoors on the spacious front deck that features a fire pit and a bbq grill or relax on the comfortable Adirondack chairs on the back deck. Get competitive with the provided classic board and card games, pinball and arcade. The sun room is surrounded with picture windows and can be used to work remotely, study for school, or read one of the provided books in the book case. Our goal is to provided you with a home away from home.
Note: Maximum Occupancy is 6 and Maximum Parking on the Driveway is 2 vehicles. No street parking.

Beautiful house and great location

Had a wonderful family ski vacation at this beautiful, newly renovated and clean property. Very cozy with good lay out. Beautiful furniture, well equipped kitchen, and very friendly, kind and responsive host. 10 mins drive to the Heavenly California lodge. Would highly recommend.

I stayed with my family for a week and what a great week it was! House was clean, large, in a great location, only a few minutes drive from Heaveanly California Lift and Downtown South Lake Tahoe. Kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies. Comfy beds and coach (with reclining seats).

Girlfriends getaway

Felt like Home, not a rental property. Beautiful and very clean. Plenty of bathroom, kitchen and beach towels.Warm weather during our stay. Every room had portable fans ready for us. Had a little problem setting up app to lock/unlock door but Nadia very quick to respond and helpful, even giving suggestions re: things to do and places to eat in Tahoe. Would definitely stay again and bring family.

Cozy cottage

Cottage was perfectly sized for our 2-family vacation. It was well situated bet SLT and Sierra. We were disappointed that the hot tub (which is pictured in the listing) was NOT part of the rental. It would have been nice to relax in after hitting the slopes.

Lake Tahoe

Home was clean, centrally located. Loved having a front and back deck. The house had limited electrical outlets and only one window air conditioner can be run at a time. We had our vehicle broken into in the driveway of the house over night.

Thank you for your comments regarding our clean home and front and back decks. Most of the homes in Tahoe have no central air conditioning because for the most part it does not get very hot here. We do not advertise having air conditioning but we provide portable air conditioners for the very few days it gets warm in Tahoe. Again, I’m sorry that your truck bed was broken into. As soon as I was informed, I checked my Ring doorbell and asked our neighbor directly across the street from us to check their security camera and both our cameras did not pick up any activities on the night questioned. I also shared the videos to you. This is a safe neighborhood and we have never had this issue.

Quiet, Beautiful, Well-Appointed Home

This property was beautiful. It had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, but also some nice little extras. Everything was in excellent condition. The location is close to town. We look forward to staying here again next summer.

Nice, Clean, Comfortable Home in Great Location

This home was really comfortable, spotless, well appointed and a great layout. Nadia was super communicative, friendly and easy to work with. She readily accommodated a scheduling request and was just great to work with. The photos of the home don't do it any justice, it really is very nice. The location is central to everything in the area. One quick note, the floors are very slippery - bring sandals! Wearing socks on these nice and shiny floors can lead to a slip/trip. We can't wait to come back to this home again, if you are considering booking - just do it!

Awesome place and great location

We loved this place. Everything was new, clean, and comfortable. The location is super close to South Lake and Heavenly. Our entire family loved the experience, especially sledding in the back yard. Definitely recommend!

Good Skiing in Lake Tahoe

Our family vacation skiing in Lake Tahoe was wonderful staying at this host's property as children and spouses gathered from various parts of the country. The quality equipped kitchen made breakfasts and dinners a breeze as everyone took turns cooking. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms appeared newly remodeled. The only drawback was the lack of adequate lighting at night for reading. This was a minor inconvenience for an otherwise great experience. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. Two thumbs up!!

Safety Issues

During the snow season, driveways get loaded with snow and it gets quit dangerous to park your car and try to walk to the front door. Our immediate neighbors on the same side of the street didn't have this problem. Their driveways were clear of snow but ours were loaded of snow. Clearly, an extra step could of been exercised. My disabled sister and mother would not have survived this driveway. Bring your shovels to clear it because the owners felt it was our responsibility.

Perfect Winter Wonderland Home

We were surprised to find that this vacation rental was even better in person. The pictures don't capture how homie and truly comfortable it is. The kitchen had everything we needed and had quality cookware which we appreciated. The fireplace was lovely after a long day of outdoor play. They have comfortable beds and pillows. You never know what you are going to get at a vacation home and we feel like they put a lot of thought into making their place a vacation home you want to come back to time and time again. The backyard was a real treat for our kids too. They loved sledding in the backyard and building a snow hut. The location was perfect. Only 8 mins away from Whole Foods. We went snowshoeing and cross country skiing when we were there and the rental place was under 10 mins away. The host was one of the best we have ever had too. The host had great communication. They went above and beyond as a host. We will be coming back for sure.

What’s there not to love about Lake Tahoe? Relaxation, beautiful views, adventure, activities and many dining options to choose from. We found ourselves in Tahoe at least 30 days per year so we decided to buy a home to give us an excuse to go to more often.

Located in a mature neighborhood from young families to retired neighbors. It has forest and mountain views but close to the lake, Heavenly Village, casinos, golf, restaurants, etc.

A cozy and comfortable home with privacy. Walk or hike to cold creek around the corner. Mountain bike to many miles of bike trail along the creeks and forest. Short drive to the lake, Heavenly Village, casinos, restaurants and shopping.
