Family get away

This property was perfect for our family get-a-way. We were able to get anywhere we wanted to go in a reasonable time. Dan is a responsive and gracious host who is extremely easy to work with. The property itself is clean, well maintained and is set up nicely to encourage time together but has plenty of space to have down time as needed.

Great home to gather with family

We had a great visit to Bellevue for a wedding. This was prefect to have a place to get together around the events in the area. Close to Seattle and nice quiet neighborhood. It was pretty warm at night with no AC. There were fans available so that helped a lot.

Great stay in Bellevue

We had 6 adults and 4 kids and this house fit our needs perfectly. The location was very convenient and is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again.

A Wonderful Gathering Place

Four of us old folks returned to Seattle for our 45th college reunion. We had a wonderful time in this spacious house. There was plenty of room in the bedrooms with other rooms available as well. It was a warm week, so I know that Dan's intention to install A/C will be most appreciated. Overall, our stay enhanced our experience and we look forward to the next time.

Amazing stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Dan’s place. The house is sooo spacious, super clean, nicely decorated, and very well supplied. Dan was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I hope to be able to return someday.

Very comfortable rental

This house was perfect for a family trip. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable out of any VRBO rental we have ever stayed at. Communication with Dan was on point as well.

Everything was great and the location is convenient to everywhere. The only issue was there is no air conditioning so it got a little hot during the day. Owner provided fans and in the Pacific Northwest the heat is usually not going to be a big issue. Dan was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay, would recommend and would use this space again!

Awesome house in a quiet neighborhood

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to everything you can imagine you'll need(cafes, restaurants, stores, pharmacies,etc). It's spacious, neat and comfy, and what is important, it has its own driveway! The house looks like it's just been renovated, and you're its first guests. We're a group of hikers, so it was important to be as close to the trails as possible. We did a couple waterfalls (Twin, Snoqualmie & Franklin Falls) and the signature Mailbox Peak. All of those trails were about half an hour away. And then we left for Portland, which is just a 3.5-hour drive. On the way there we did the High Rock Lookout Trail(highly recommended for those who want to capture Mt Rainier views. It's only 1.5h away from the house). And I would also love to thank Dan, our host, for being so caring and responsive. I think, he was the only host who ever contacted me this much asking how our stay was, whether everything was fine, who was always in touch with me. He's a 5-star homeowner! Thank you again for our awesome time in Bellevue! Hope to be back!

Bellevue/Newport VRBO rental

We felt so welcomed as we were greeted by the property owner, who lives next door. He showed us the property & reiterated to us to ask for any needed info or help @ anytime, which we did. A bottle of wine was provided for our enjoyment as were other amenities. The online pictures do not do justice to how nice the home is in the interior. We were very pleased! Sincerely, Patty Larson

Family Celebration of Life

The Cheerful House was very comfortable and was perfect for our family. We stayed five nights, and there was plenty of room for eight of us. Everything was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Our check-in process was very easy, and the property manager checked with us by text to make sure the house was working well for our family. We liked it so much that we plan to return for another stay later this year.
