Enjoyed Our Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott OceanWatch! We had one of the garden view rooms. We were assigned to a room in the Pine building, which was on the first floor. Despite being on the first floor, we had essentially the same level of privacy that you would expect from a higher floor and had a charming view of many trees and a creek that passed in front of our room. As far as food goes, we liked Woody's, which I believe has the same food as the Sand Dollar. The fish in the fish and chips was delicious! I would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful and Relaxing

Beautiful resort. My teenagers, and younger kids, enjoyed all the pools on the property, as well as the ball courts. I noticed that resort staff goes above and beyond to keep everything functioning, clean, and convenient/comfortable for guests. LOVED our stay, will definitely return.

Excellent Stay

Our family found the facility to be clean and well maintained. Access to the beach was good and the locker area to store beach chairs and accessories was a big bonus. We really enjoyed the serenity pool and hot tub as well. Only minor issue is I don't care for cashless places but otherwise our stay was excellent and we would go back.

Wonderful End of Summer Trip

The resort was lovely. The pools were great and there were several from which my family could choose. My children loved the treehouse playground as well. The entire transaction was seamless. We had no issues checking in at the resort. The resort met all of our expectations. I would highly recommend OceanWatch Villas at Grande Dunes.

Beautiful Property

The condo was perfect for our family. It appeared to be newly renovated, and was very clean and well maintained. My only issue was with the listing. The ad stated the unit's view was Ocean view, however, our condo was a first floor unit and did not have a view of the ocean. Our only view was of the people walking by the unit on the way to the beach.

wonderful as always

i don't really know what you could be looking for beyond what the property has. we've stayed here 5 times and it's always exceptional. i know it's all time shares which is unfortunate b/c it takes away the ease of booking with marriott and instead you have a bunch of time share distributors who make it difficult to know about availability. the people we rented from were nice, but they have a lot of people working for them who i don't think are really familiar with the property. they have the following categories of rental units: oceanfront oceanview oceanside garden view this place was listed as "Oceanfront view" which is a combination of two places. I inquired 4 times and talked to a different person each time and got different answers. i eventually just gave up and figured that the personnel in american business is garbage ever since the pandemic thinned out the pool of competent applicants. we were also trying to get my father-in-law on the list so that he could pick up the key since we wouldn't be arriving with our babies until 1am. i was told repeatedly by the people we were renting from that i needed to contact Marriott which i did 4 times and for a total of 1.5 hours. turns out it was the people i was renting from who were supposed to do it. i had been trying to work this out for a week prior to arrival and on the day of arrival they told me that unfortunately their hands were tied since it was the day of arrival. frustrating.

Great for kids and teenagers

Property was clean and well maintained. The resort was away from the busy tourist area of Myrtle Beach and the kids could roam around to the activities, beach and pools. Food was good along with pool side drinks.

Pure perfection

This was the An amazing vacation . From check in to check out it was perfect. Beautiful view from the 14th floor. Our room was perfect. Every employee at this resort was nice and helpful. There was activities for the kids and adults. We only left the resort for supplies. We Bbq daily and used every pool they had which was 7 I believe. The beach was steps away and they had storage units for all your beach needs right at the beach access which made it so easy for pit chairs toys and umbrellas .I'm so happy we found this amazing resort Ty for beautiful memories

Great Stay!

We loved the Marriott Villas @ Grand Dunes in Myrtle Beach. The resort was very well-maintained, and staff was friendly and attentive. The pools are fabulous and there are a lot of fun games on the property (cornhole, bocce, shuffleboard, and a treehouse playground). We would definitely come back and have been recommending it to friends and family!

Luxury Resort on the Beach

Our visit to Marriott OceanWatch Villas at Grande Dunes was very relaxing. The condo was spacious enough for my wife, me, and our 6 kids. We enjoyed all the resort pools and hut tubs, as well as the beach each day of our trip. Even though we stayed in December, we were able to enjoy the outdoor amenities and the beach. We hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the beach even more.
