One of the greatest perks of this three-story, waterpark adjacent townhouse is the location! You can walk out the door and be on a waterslide in the blink of an eye! You will be three doors from Camelback Resort and waterpark. Not to mention, you can have some fun away from the waterpark with the shared community pool, hot tub, sauna and tennis courts on-site! This family-friendly retreat offers a nice and well-equipped living area with a woodstove, partial air-conditioning, a large smart TV to stream your favorite series and movies, and a private deck with a gas BBQ to view the mountains. The full, eat-in kitchen has all the appliances needed to prepare tasty meals and snacks, especially after a fun-filled day in the surrounding parks. The Keurig coffee maker is a great addition according to coffee enthusiasts. Two bedrooms can be found on the first level of the home along with a laundry room and a full bathroom. The third floor features a nice and secluded sleeping area with a comfortable bed and an en suite full bathroom. This is a great vacation home and boasts a great location close to all major attractions the Poconos has to offer!

Unfortunately, my stay at this unit in the Poconos was very disappointing. The space was not clean upon arrival — there was hair in the shower, and the cooking and eating utensils were dirty. The keypad didn’t work to lock the unit from the outside, which was inconvenient and felt unsafe. The instructions are not clear. The apartment itself is extremely outdated: the stove wasn’t leveled, the oven door didn’t close properly, and the fridge and dishwasher need replacing. Safety was also a concern, as the windows and back sliding door did not lock and were being held closed with sticks. On our first morning, there was no running water, and when I called the emergency contact listed, they said they had no knowledge of the property. The instructions listed on the fridge along with the emergency # contact, is incorrect. Throughout the stay, the water pressure was very low, and the hot water was limited. Toilets did not flush very well. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this property in its current condition. It needs significant maintenance, cleaning, and safety improvements before being rented again. Only good thing about this unit, it’s that it is located in a perfect location near attractions. With some updating & better communication with host, it would be ideal.

Probably Amazing 30 Years Ago

This place was sufficient to have a place to lay our heads and get cleaned up, but not much more beyond that. It's out of date, worn out, and a little dirty. The freezer didn't work, the TV rattles, and the beds were mid.The location is great. The neighborhood was quiet. They gave us plenty of towels.

Was Probably Awesome 30 Years Ago

This house left a lot to be desired for us. I'm sure at one time, it was probably a great place, but it doesn't hold up to modern expectations and is really well worn. Seemed like a reasonable price, but once all the fees are added, after the fact, it wasn't worth it. We could have spent a little more and stayed at one of the newer resorts. A few positives - We were there in summer, so it was VERY quiet. We hardly saw anyone else, while there. That being so, the beds were sufficiently comfortable, and we decently slept well. The unit is nicely located, and has easy access to area attractions. Also, they gave us plenty of towels. Now the drawbacks: -The freezer did not work. Upon arriving we went grocery shopping. Anything frozen we bought was ruined by the next morning. -The AC did not sufficiently cool the entire house - the main floor stayed plenty chilly, but the loft and two bedrooms in the basement got quite toasty. -If you use the toilet for anything that's not liquid, be prepared to hold down the handle, or you might have a mess on your hands. The toilets don't flush properly. - The TV on the main level is old and the sound doesn't work well on it. If there's any bass, the entire unit rattles. - The upstairs TV is basically a flatscreen paper weight. It has no connectivity. - You can't open the dishwasher door unless the oven door is openned first.

Ski weekend 5 stars

The property was very convenient for a ski weekend with kids and a dog. Ski on/off was spot on. Neighborhood was clean and nice. House was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. I'm only dinging the check in because I didn't get a QR code to scan/enter at the security gate at entrance. Security would not let us in even though we had the rental agreement. After an hour of waiting, security finally had mercy on us and let us in. I didn't get the code for another 2 & half hours. Make sure you get that code before traveling!Pots and pans could use an upgrade, but all other kitchen items were convenient and clean.

Good location

The kitchen isn’t well equipped. The stove door hinges are off. But it’s a great location, literally ski in/ski out. And the chandelier is too low and you hit your head if you sit on the one side of the table. That should be fixed. All in all, it certainly did the job and made for a great two day stay!

Winter Getaway

My family and I stayed at this unit and it was wonderful. We loved how close it was to the slopes where the kids could come and go all day long skiing. The communication with the property owner was amazing. We hope to return next year.

Cozy weekend

Very dirty, but close to camelback resort

The property seemed like it wasnt cleaned at all. There were empty alcohol bottles in a cabinet in one of the rooms, the kitchenware had food stuck onto it, the dining room table and benches were sticky, the bed sheets had clumps of hair on them, the balcony had a pile of leaves and trash in the corner, the grill had food stuck on it and a puddle of grease underneath it, and there was a general musky odor in the space. The appliances we used were operational. They provide a keurig coffee maker but you would need to bring your own coffee pods to use it. The property is located on camelback mountain but one of the 2 main rules explicitly stated by security is that you are not allowed on the slopes (maybe this rule changes in the winter). There is access to a nice indoor community pool and hot tub as well as indoor and outdoor tennis courts. The property is also close to camelback resort where they have waterparks and other fun activities in the summer and skiing in the winter. If the property was cleaner it might have even been an enjoyable stay.

Week day ski getaway

My husband, myself and 19 year old granddaughter had a fantastic 2 days of skiing! The condo was very clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back again!

Couple bumps but overall loved!

The home was nice. Great location & the space was remarkable! The things I did not like was the pool closing at 4:30 it doesn’t tell you before booking and check in is at 4 the kids couldn’t swim much because you go out during the day then have no time to return and swim because they are closed. Cleanliness the grill and the oven were dirty everything else was great Cleaning wise. They also provided bags and paper towels (which they didn’t need to) we already came prepared but if you’re not - take your own as well just because it wasn’t enough. I would definitely book again but please speak up about the pool hours.

Good location. But not clean

The location and the size of the home was great but as soon as we walked in there was a musky smell. In the bigger bedroom downstairs it smelled like someone sprayed axe to cover up musk which made it smell worse. The frame of the bed was filled with dust and dirt. The shower had black marks in the white tub that we couldn’t wash down. The closet had dirty linens wrapped in a ball on the floor. The ac in the living room was great and powerful but didn’t reach the downstairs. There were fans in the downstairs bedrooms but it wasn’t enough to not wake up sweating. I messaged the host six days before check in about whether they had a pack and play (they don’t) and other questions and only got a response as I was already in the property. Again the location was great but the home needs upkeep. Other than this check in and check out was pretty easy.

Dirty, not well maintained. Owner needs to repair many items in the villa. It’s a bad representation of the company that is renting out the villa’s.
