Newly updated home with unobstructed views of Columbia River and Canyon. Relax and enjoy the Hot on the patio with a full canyon view. Our home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with 2 living rooms, a kitchen, and a washer/dryer. This is the perfect spot for families or groups of all sizes.

Shades Of River Home is located on a Columbia river & 25 min to the Gorge Amphitheater.

Our property can accommodate boat and RV parking with a secure gated area.
It can get very windy in the area especially in the evenings. Please take care to secure personal belongings, furniture cushions, etc. before turning in for the evening.

Beautiful location & accommodations

The views were just as spectacular as pictured. The hot tub & fire pit were delightful. The house was excellently setup and stocked. A lot much room to spread out for many folks. Don’t hesitate, this is the spot.

Perfect place to enjoy your weekend

This is a beautiful house with stunning views around, plenty of space and sleeping areas for a large family and friend. Take your fishing pole and enjoy the river with a private gated house. I strongly recommend it, anything that is stated as advertised.

Beautiful location, overly intense scents

This house is in a gorgeous location right on the Columbia river. The views are unbelievable and it’s pretty close to the gorge concert venue. The house itself is a bit odd. Would have been nice to have things like dish towels in the kitchen, and there were three frames in the living room that still had heir stock images in them that said “metal frame” which seemed like an odd choice. The second house is just a converted garage and it’s pretty dark back there, but if you’re only using it for Sleeping it works fine. My biggest complaint with the property is that they used HEAVILY scented laundry detergent and fabric softener on all the bedding/towels and probably way too much of it. I ended up putting my own sheets on my bed after the first night because the smell was so intense it was waking me up in the middle of the night and giving me a headache. It was gross. Otherwise, the house was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. The sunsets over the river gorge were epic.

Amazing view, lots of space, houses could use more amenities, new furniture

The view is really amazing and hot tub is nice plus. New outdoor furniture is needed and more comfortable indoor furniture, more amenities. . Beds are comfortable. About 30 min drive to Gorge Ampitheater, which is pretty good since there are few lodging options close by . Two houses on property - one with one bedroom, kitchen, living room, bath- the other with 3 bedrooms and bath. Host was responsive to questions. Again - the view makes this worth renting!!

House was so dirty and there wasn’t enough towels, water was tasted bad.

The house was big enough, but a lot of things to put more attention.

Exceeded Expectations!

The pictures of the listing do not do justice. The property is located a stones throw from the river and beautiful backdrop of the hills. The patio, fire pit and hot tub were all a hit! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We stayed for the weekend to go to a concert at The Gorge, which is roughly 20 minutes away. There is 1 bedroom in the main house and 2 in the adjacent house - perfect for a large family or 3 couples. We will definitely be back!
