SJ Landmark The Hensley House Master Suite with Bathtub Unit 1
The Hensley Historic District was adopted as a local Historical Landmark District in 1990 by the San Jose City Council. The district contains over 225 buildings that contribute to its historic character, representing the largest concentration of Victorian era residences in greater San Jose.
The namesakes of the district, Major Samuel J. and Mary Helen Hensley, were early San Jose residents of the American period, whose lives are interwoven with the origins of modern California.The period of significance for the establishment of the historic district is 1865-1918.
456 north 3rd st, named The Hensley house, is one of the top well-perserved Victorian building since 1894.
It was a B&B in 70th, and turned into Airbnb by its new owner. Now, the Hensley House has 7 unities, all has its own bathroom, some has full kitchen.
The Unit 1, located at the first floor, is the most well kept from the original interior amount other units. Colorful stained glass, hand carved wood cabinet, gold chandelier, hand painted ceiling with gold foilâŠ
While experiencing the historical beauty, newly remodeled shower, bath top, and kitchen will give guests higher comfort level.
Sleeping on the Tempur-pedic bed, with the fireplace by the side, watching 55in smart TV, will call for the night.
