We loved the house. Very well appointed clean and comfortable

We were a group of over 75 year olds. Plenty of room for some disability equipment needed for 2 people. We just had the best time. Loved outlook from the lovely big windows .

OK, but not great.

Thanks for hosting us last weekend. The property was well-maintained and had all necessary facilities. Despite a heatwave, the air-conditioning kept us comfortable indoors. However, the description (‘the Coorong Island Retreat is a tranquil secluded treat’ and ‘Having the whole peninsular to yourself’) of tranquillity was misleading; other groups were nearby on the same peninsular in caravans, hindering our solitude. Also, a backyard security camera made us feel uneasy. While the property has positives, the negatives outweighed our desire to return.

Great time had by all

Though the weather wasn’t kind to us we really enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and the views spectacular, my son who loves animals was blown away by how close the farm animals and the kangaroos came to the house. The caretaker was excellent with helping with any issues/queries and the owner was responsive to queries.

Amazing location!

We had an amazing experience at the coorong island retreat! The property is a hidden gem with amazing views and surrounded by natural beauty! Host Naveesh is very prompt in communication and accomodating!

More like a 3.5 to 4 star.

It was a nice stay, lovely views, and quiteness. Beautiful spot. But planned on cooking a roast in the fire over, but no pans that fitted, lacking utensils. Barbie was old and soiled, couches stained. Not unhappy but a little over priced and not 5 star, more like 3.5 to 4 star.

A stunning stay and a wonderful host

A beautiful place to stay, relax, refresh and recharge. Everything taken care of by the superb host, Nav. So many extras included, we were pleasantly surprised. Plenty of space inside and out, pet-friendly and very comfortable. Will definitely return to stay again! Thank you Nav and Monica for our wonderful, unique weekend at the Coorong Island Retreat.

Short but not so sweet

The property was amazing. The goats & llama make it a not so friendly 'pet friendly' stay. Due to life & death medical reasons - we had to leave a day early & didn't have time to tidy up as we were on a very tight timeline to make it back ti Adelaide. I expressed this to the owner and said we hadn't cleaned up and why but we were still charged the night we didn't stay AND a cleaning fee.
