Welcome to the Country-Farm, where you will find anything from wildlife to cows and chickens with fresh eggs and a few crawfish are possible and only one and half mile gravel road off Hwy 165 with easy access to the Coushatta Casino and Golf course just 10 miles away plus the Calcasieu and Ouiska Chitto Rivers where there's fishing and canoeing in the spring time or just relax in the quite country

Great place to stay

Recommend staying here any day over a hotel. Super cute, comfortable, perfect for families. We plan to return again on our next visit to the area.

The farm house is adorable and it was SO clean. The hosts were fantastic. There were so many homey touches all around the place that made us feel like we were home away from home. I will definitely be staying again.

Home away from home

The best place you could stay in the area!

This is the first vrbo we have rented, just a all around great experience , this adorable place was perfect , to put it simply just didn’t want to leave ! The hosts were so kind and the fresh eggs are a great way to start your day 😀

Beautiful Property

The stay at the farmhouse was one of the most memorable stays I have had in years. Staying here takes me back to my childhood and gave my family a great chance to connect without technology. I highly recommend staying at the farmhouse for anyone that enjoys a coffee on the front porch.

This Farmhouse was cozy, clean and beautiful. Everything in the description of property is accurate. The Hosts, Tim & Bernie were friendly and gave us a very warm welcome, including home baked cookies. We will definitely be visiting them again.

What a lovely property tucked away in a little slice of heaven! We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little farmhouse on a beautiful property. It was peaceful, quiet, comfortable and charming. The chocolate chip cookies were a really nice touch too! We didn't meet Tim & Bernie until the last day because we were out and about, but they could not have been nicer! Thanks for a great stay!

Great for us!

Tim came greet us right away, unfortunately we did not get to visit long due to the demands of the retreat, but he greeted me with so much kindness, I wish I could have gotten to know him better. Maybe more visiting when we rent it again for the next retreat! So much better to keep a family (or retreat team) together instead of a bunch of hotel rooms. It let us cook together, car pool together and sleep comfortably!

Peaceful slice of heaven

The Farm House is definitely up there as one of my favorite places that we've stayed. It was spotlessly clean. It was on a farm with cows and guinea hens you could see out the window. My daughter with special needs was so excited that Mr. Tim helped her feed the cows! Mrs. Bernie baked us cookies and pound cake that we certainly enjoyed. I will definitely stay in the Farm House again when I'm back in the area.
