Exceptional location in Pont Aven. Beautiful spacious apartment overlooking the River Aven, situated at the entrance to the walking trails of the Bois d’amour and just a few minutes walk along the promenade Xavier Grall to the heart of this charming artist town and its’ excellent restaurants, museum, shops and galleries. Within a short drive you can explore unspoiled coastline, beautiful beaches. Recently renovated and furnished to a high standard of comfort and charm, this 90m2 apartment takes over the whole top floor of this former pension de famille. With its own private entrance it has the feeling of a house on top of a house. The rooms are well designed and spacious and with its high vaulted ceilings and views onto the river this is a luxurious place to stay and a wonderful base from which to explore the rivers, rias, woodlands and beaches. There is a small outside terrace with dining for 4.

Simply fantastic

We actually wanted to go on holiday to Brittany years ago. Unfortunately, we never liked any of the accommodation. By chance we found these flats and booked straight away. Clair did the renovation and subsequent furnishing with incredible style and attention to detail. It will be almost impossible to find anything similar in Brittany.

Best in every way 5 stars

Hosts totally on the ball - responsive and helpful within a moment. The large apartment feels like you are the first person to stay. Spotless. Very well laid out in luxe style and comfort. Anything you need is available and well organized and presented. Sofa is amazing! Hear and see the river Aven gurgling below on its way through town to the sea Easy parking. Amazing find. Rare. Merci.

The perfect vacation apartment in an excellent location

The most beautifully designed vacation apartment we had ever been to. We were 2 couples traveling together so we took the whole unit (2 apartments). High quality furnishing, very comfortable beds with 100% cotton white bed linens and soft white towels. Kitchen well equipped with lots of dinnerware and cutlery. Everything very clean, absolutely shining. Great location: At the centre of Pont Aven with direct river view from windows. Walking trail just at your doorstep, supermarket and boulangerie within 5-8 minutes walking. Claire, home owner, lives in the lower floor and is always quick to respond to any question, weather during reservation process or while staying. We highly recommend this place and we will be happy to return!

Hello, I have run a successful business renting out holiday properties in Brittany, France since 2005. I live locally and love the area for its unspoilt natural coastline, magnificent beaches, great food, welcoming people, and authenticity. I love interiors and decoration, to travel and explore, and love to stay in accommodation that it is both thoughtful, soul filled and thoroughly comfortable.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I fell in love with this beautiful old pension de famille, when I saw it sitting there empty and falling into ruin. In a beautiful riverside location on the edge of the town, I undertook a huge and complete renovation which took three years and an amazing team of artisans. I am over the moon with the result. The building has been bought back into the 21st century whilst retaining lots of character and charm it is fully insulated has modern plumbing and electrics and all the mod cons.

I hope to provide accommodation that is thoughtful, soul inspiring and indulgently comfortable. I used to run 5 large properties, now I run one and am enjoying the opportunity to slow down, have time to look after and offer my very best to my guests.
