Large 3 bedroom 2 bath corner house with a large deck and grill in the back yard . One of the best areas of Texas City. This spacious brick home is on a large corner lot. Great for the Galveston vacation family or the long term guest for work. This quiet family area offers the best in vacation travel. Prices listed are always just below market rate and I stay booked. This house was perfect for our stay. Comfortable couch and beds. Pet - friendly, our dogs are kennel trainined. Communication with the host was amazing. And the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this house. We will rebook here for sure.

Great location for family

Notice a few little bugs in master bathroom. Mattress was kinda soft but we are use to hard mattress. On the most part a good location for us and accommodation ok. Kitchen very handy could have used more pots for coooking.

Texas City Stay

Property was very clean , close to Texas City Dyke for crabbing and fishing . Galveston Island is only about a 15-20 minute drive .

Host needs to do better.

Our stay was less than expected. The house is clean and spacious. We did have several issues that complicated our stay. Making things worse, the host was flat out ignored my calls and text. abo

1. Tim had 5 guests and only paid for 3. Asked him 4 times how many guests. 2. Started complaining 2 days before arrival. 3. Threw a tantrum becuase he saw poison ivy on a back wall behind a grage. ( had it sprayed while he was there) 4. Called me 5 times becuase he couldn;'t find a can operer and said in writing "this ruined our family dinner" Can opener was in the drawer next to the stove. 5. Harrassed me via text on my cell phone until VRBO put a stop to him. 6. He's pending cancellation termination from the platform. It's clowns like this that make the short term rental business not fun.....

We had a great time the only reason why I couldn't give it five stars is because the mattresses hurt are backs, the pillows were to flat, the tv was hard to use my daughter was able to cast her phone but then it would either freeze or turn off, if you were sleeping upstairs you'd need fan because it was so hot. Other than that we have had an overall great time and are dog had just as much fun.

The area was nice…in a nice neighborhood but the house itself needs remolding everything in the house needs upgrade no amities…no tv in none of the rooms except the living with no instructions on how to watch the tv…all of the bedrooms had dog hair in the sheets all over the pillows and all over the floor..odor of wet dogs thru out the house …bugs all over the house water bugs and spiders..roaches and flies..the house just needs to be be cleaned really well and sprayed for insects..ooh and tons of spider webs at the front door had to get a broom to knock them down before I even reached the front door!!!not a happy customer at all would like some of my money back

Not as described

The house on the outside is nice but the inside is extremely outdated. Its advertised as 3 beds and 2 baths with a barbecue grill and hot tub, 1 king and 2 queen beeds. There wasnt a hot tub. There wasn't a grill and we'd brought our own food to grill for our 3 day stay. When I messaged the owner about the missung grill he just said it was stolen.I had to go buy one. The 2nd upstairs bedroom that was supposed to have a queen size bed was more like a full size cot where you could feel springs and made for an awful nights sleep. I had to buy a pull out mattress. Someone kept coming in and out of the backyard when we weren't there to pull out a trailer parked at the property. We werent told this would happen and they wouldn't close the gate behind them. My dog got out through the open gate, thankfully i was able fo catch him as it is by a busy street. The stove top inky had two burners working &1 of the 2 toilets was running the entire time we were there. I wouldn't recommend unless listing is updated with what is actually available with full transparency.

Unfortunately she was mistaken about the hot tub. It says hot water. Additionally we caught her with a house full of unauthorized ( and not paid for) guests. At that point if the wind changed direction she was going to give us a bad review. We have filed a claim on the guest. I’m hopeful other hard working hosts don’t experience this pack of wolves.
