Totally private & secluded, you will wake to the sound of the creek burbling by and the breeze in the aspens & pines. Hike all day, or explore nearby lakes & hot springs. Grill your dinner & smores over an open firepit. Take time to enjoy your favorite glass of wine or cocktail on the cabin front porch as you star gaze at the Montana Big Sky.

This is a perfect place for people looking to live simply while reconnecting with our beautiful world. The setting and scenery were gorgeous. The accommodations were clean and cozy. The shower was a special treat. The hosts were delightful. They added a few special touches that added to the magic of the place.Just a note: the property is on a bit of a hill, and it could be difficult for someone with limited mobility.

Great cabin retreat

Quiet and secluded cabin on a private property with beautiful views. Shawn and Ray were very welcoming and informative about the area. The cabin was clean and cozy. Highly recommended!

Perfect Off Grid Cabon

We loved this cabin so much. It was just our style and what we needed. We loved the private location and the creek. Everything was set up perfectly. We even had chair to sit at the creek! Dog friendly and our little dog loved it too!

Great place to unwind and have a private family retreat! Room to roam, safe for kids, and a creek for the dog to splash in. Loft got hot but the kids didn't mind. Railing up there meant I wasn't worried about them falling. Help little butts with the outdoor toilet, it takes some practice!

Absolutely amazing

Off grid in style! The location is gorgeous! Secluded in some huge pines with a stream running 20 yds away. Loved hanging out in such a peaceful setting. You can tell that the hosts really care about your experience providing many extras: firewood, french press , nice soap, games, robes etc. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Amazing and peaceful little cabin in the woods along a stream.

My son and I visited (from WA state) for a fishing trip to the west fork of the Bitterroot River. We had an amazing time. The cabin is beautiful and well stocked with a welcome basket with toiletries, makings for smores, coffee, and farm fresh honey! And plenty of dishes, pots and pans.The bed was comfy with the softest linens. Even though it was 90 degrees in the day, the cabin was cool and comfortable with the windows open in the evening. Everything was set up to be as convenient as possible. I loved the outdoor shower! The view was so peaceful and pretty. Leave the curtain open to enjoy the view, or close it. Either way, the shower was a fun experience at an off grid cabin. The composting toilet was cool and clean. There are solar lights for night time and water, soap and a basin for hand washing. My son was able to catch a few brook trout while hanging out at the creek on site. And the fishing on the west fork was awesome! The only thing I can advise is that the hill from where you park to the cabin is a bit steep. One of those canvas wagons would have been very helpful in bringing things up and down the hill. I highly recommend staying at this cabin. The owners are wonderful and extremely helpful! The experience cannot be beat! I really hope to be back one day!

Ray and I love the hospitality business! For the last 20 years we owned a small successful resort and after selling it we missed hosting guests! We “retired” to our 120 acre ranch in the Bitterroot Valley and started to plan the next phase of our lives. We love raising our own food for our family here on the ranch. From raising beef & chickens to growing fresh vegetables and fruits, we are living a new sustainable lifestyle, and love to share that farm experience with our guests. We also love all things outdoors and want to invite you to come and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Bitterroot mountains, a truly beautiful place to get to experience the outdoors and unwind.

It's a Glamping Off Grid Experience!! Sitting at the base of the Sapphire Mountains with majestic views of the Bitterroots you can disconnect, unwind and enjoy the serenity. OR you can hike right from the cabin across Calf Creek Wildlife Management Area, fish for trout in our creek or nearby lakes, hike to waterfalls, or visit local natural mountain hot springs. It's your best camping trip EVER!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The cabin is furnished with a comfy queen bed and 2 singles in the loft for a kids sleeping area. There is an outdoor propane BBQ grill with a cooking burner for meal preparation, a propane heater for if it’s cold, 5 gallons of water for drinking and washing, (we have wells on the property & can refill) and a cooler for food storage. Bring your own ice! The cabin is stocked with all the dishes, utensils and pots & pans needed for meals, including a kettle & coffee press for that perfect cup of coffee. Next to the cabin is the outdoor shower house, outfitted with 60 gallons of water, a propane instant hot water shower, and a clean, modern composting toilet. Linens, comfortable robes, & shower shoes are provided. The off grid shower house has a beautiful mountain side view filled with pines and aspens. Completely private and serene. We have 2 family homes on the property and live and work on site. There is haying, cows, chickens, gardening and more if you have interest in learning about our self-sustainable lifestyle. We have a beautiful creek running through the entire property. Perfect for fishing or swimming in! Play softball with your kids in our baseball field or a game of croquet. We are 15 minutes from downtown Hamilton with grocery stores, gas stations, amazing restaurants, breweries, distilleries, art galleries, and specialty shops!
